Swap tht filter to a k&n asap lost a turbo thanks to those spectra pos filters the metal ring in center came off an ate the induction wheel

This is actually something to take serious. Mike has a luck of an Irish man, when it comes to cars, but better to be sure than sorry. The highest end airfilters are still so cheap and easy to get, that you should always choose the best, if you care about your vehicle. K&N never failed me.
Love the car btw an there also hp robbers on a dyno the will lose 30+ to the tires on turbo vehicles just do to crappy flow not trying to tell you wht to put on your car either just a piece of advice one car bro to another keep making dope vids the collaboration between you an mr LZ are 🔥

that clutch fan is one big priority to why you’re loosing hp, a small investment on some elecrtic fans will make that setup 30x better. been here since slammed civic days, good stuff regardless love how the soarer’s coming out!

sorry fam, in the JZ world, the OEM clutch fan is the hands down the best. Great CFM, and they’re consistent. Hell I’ve heard a few people swap to a Nissan Titan Clutch Fan, they pull like 2400CFM 🤷🏼♀️
No no no no, stick to the stock cooling fan. The 1jz has NO COOLING issues with that thing, going electric is the only way these motors over heat. DO NOT CHANGE IT!

I have a 1997 Soarer JZZ30 1JZ GTE 2.5 LTRS Single turbo VVTI Engine manual 5 speed transmission with original CT10 Turbo, upgraded with HK-s exhaust system, GReady ECU, GReady Air and Oil Cooler and Vaildside Sport kits was turned 285 kw. That car was I imported from the Japan. Car was very very fast. People didn't know Soarer can modify without internal modification.
You can still find the Soarer manual transmission Twin turbo or VVTI Single turbo for under $ 20,000. It's very good car and worth to keep it.

Mike: You need something under the bumper to support it so it doesn't flex like crazy. I notice that it's empty all the way back. It wouldn't be a bad idea to do a large diffuser sheet under the bumper to link the lower edges together to prevent it from flexing as you drive. It'll prevent the paint from cracking. It doesn't have to protrude out. It can be flush or even an inch behind the outer edge.

I would just get a manual shift kit for the auto, allows u to from 1 through 4 gears in a straight line pattern with park and reverse there too. a shift kit would allow the auto to shift faster too dude. mvautomatics i think they do stuff for a340s

Please get rid of the spectre air filter that thing will fall apart so fast into your Turbo imo use a K&N filter or buy a turbo guard, glad to see the car running and driving keep up the good work shout out from Dallas Texas
For the manual swap you could easily do a CD009 transmission with an adapter plate. I’m sure it’ll be a bit cheaper too
oh yeah he could get it done under $2500 with a nice cd009 too the collins adaptier for like $600 plus a trans 1000 at most plus all the other shit u need like clutch and clutch lines clutch pedal master cylinder easily under 3 grand

Stock 1J boost is about 10psi. Without an aftermarket fuel system you will max out at about 14psi with that turbo
shift kit the auto and look into getting a higher stall torque converter that suits where ur peak torque hits. Itll be a monster :D
Use a T56 or CD009 trans with the JZ? For the manual swap, there are lots out there. The Collins kit to the cd009 would be sick
R154 is the best factory way to do it, CD’s and T56’s would probably require me smashing out my trans tunnel to fit them which I’d rather not do haha
First off, beautiful car, secondly, doesn’t even sound like 12psi, haven’t watched any other videos, what is the setup? I’ll look back, if it’s making over 6-7 I’d be impressed.... keep it up, enjoy it the way she is now, she’s beautiful, my soarer is r154, so is my mk3 supra, my cressida is w58, at this point I’m probably going to leave my sc300 auto when I swap it.

@@diiviinemedia Hehe true, but times has moved quite a lot since then and a proper electronic boost controller is not that much and a whole other game than junky manual boost controller. Really what you want is a proper standalone ECU.
