Might be worth putting in like to let people know the groups they can get to meet others alike I follow and watch you and appreciate your shows as I'm thinking of a change
Good content … another point when ordering wise card whatever address you order card to is where they will send replacement so give Thai address or mailbox in case you lose and need replacement
In southeast you will be wearing some type of shorts 95% of the time. Purchase waistline pocket belts where you simply insert your wise card and a few thousand baht on your way out the door. My belt also has a very comfortable padded pouch for my phone which fits perfectly on my person as I prefer smaller units than most. Nothing is visible from the outside. Park my motorbike, through my keys inside my helmet which both goes inside my travel box. My spare travel box key which I use to lock/unlock the box stays on a small retractable line clip inside my waist pocket belt. I like being hands and pockets free when on the go. Love my Charles Schwab card!!!
Agreed, and excellent advice all around. My only add is, rather than fanny pack, I’d get a Leg Bag instead. Its use also prevent theft, instead of leaving your stuff in pockets.
Great video! I'm just wondering, do you have any problems with insects or rodents in your condo? If so, is it serious and easy fix? Hope to hear back, and thank you in advance.
That may look like a run-of-the-mill "comb filter," but it's actually a proprietary audio enhancer that helps Isaiah's voice sound more velvety and smooth. lol
Another Great Video, Isaiah! I have a question about language. Have you been to areas south of Bangkok, such as Hua Hin and Cha-Am? If so, what is your opinion on someone new to Thailand from the USA, who only speaks English...initially settling in that area. Do you think it might pose a problem without having Thai language skills, or have you found that enough English is spoken in those areas as to not be a problem? Any insight you can give would be Greatly Appreciated. Thanks Bro!
I'm going in October. I watch TH-cam videos on speaking Thai here and there. Like Isaiah says, learning at least a few basics will help you a lot once you're there. I realize that at first it's like trying to learn Klingon 😂 but just keep watching a little video here and there.
The personal journey of becoming aware of what doesn't work for peace of mind. Relocating by 2025. First extensive trip is next month, Thailand, the chaos ,( remembering we are and do become our surroundings) chaos,(crime, negativity, politics, economy corruption)even when I retreat on trails up here , i can hear the truth the voice speaking to me, and at times I must acknowledge that voice and I must override the voice and communicate back that I am not that previous person anylonger saying to myself, you know your way out,now see your way out. Its something that works for me, the part where I wont let my inner voice tell me to accept the facts here, to just stay complacent. There's enormous possibilities for growth outside of the USA, one thing for me is I am studying Thai language now and will continue until fluent. I speak basic Russian, Spanish,Latin currently. I also would love to expand from my Aikido experience and take Muay Thai, the training looks extensive it will keep me strong. Lastly between all those things explore as many temples as possible. Great video ❤thank you!
Hey Isaiah, I've followed your vids for about 4 months now. Currently heading to Thailand (July 10) with the 6 month METV to start with, and planning for longer. As far as the Wise card, can you basically use it on normal daily transactions like grocery stores and 7-11? I got one started, but just learning about it.
Thanks for the tips, if I converted my home currency to thb within the wise app, I can withdraw cash at any atm twice a month with no fee? Is that correct and what is the maximum? Appreciate any information as the wise website is confusing
No fee from wise but you’d still pay the Thai atm fee of 200 baht only way to avoid that is by having a Thai bank account or a card that reimburses atm fees
I was watching a video on tik tok about the dangers of your bank account, credit cards, brokerage account being hacked in Thailand. Any thoughts on that?
that's why don't use your bank cards in TH at all. Bring cash. Use money transfer services like wise and there are many others. Also wise card is just an e-wallet so if someone hacks it they can only get what you have in the wallet. Don't pay with cards at bars or resto - it will get skimmed. Never use atms located on the streets or inside sketchy bars - it will get skimmed. Only use atms inside malls and bank branches. Bringing a throw away phone to carry around is good idea too. Keep your main phone with all banking data locked in the hotel.
LukKai Thong Restaurant @EmQuartier Bro please go try this restaurant. I've been living in bkk since August of last year and i had one of the best meals ever here. Trust me man

Good stuff Isaiah Ashley.
💯 on the Wise card. Very convenient with its multi currency options.
For your vids in your condo you should use a blue xl mic. It'll upgrade you so much
That's great! Thanks for sharing.
Another great video, with very useful information.
Great advice especially the insurance. Dead on Visa is another
Solid tips bruh👊🏿💯✈

I'm going to Bangkok in august plan on staying there for a bit but I would also like to stay by a beach any recommendations?
Phuket is real nice, short flight from Bangkok.
Pattaya is a couple of hrs from Bangkok
Hold-up? Why wouldn't we want the conversion option? Thanks.
Lots of solid information here. FYI, for me the sound quality was not up to your usual standard.

With Bolt and Grab so the taxis in Thailand accept payment from the app via your registered card or do they accept cash only?
Card thru the app is accepted
What about STI's? Apparently they are rife out there?
Same in certain cities in the u.s … be careful everywhere
