I've legit spent hundreds of hours learning about RC since last year. Your stuff has been the most insightful yet straightforward I've ever seen. The order of each video is perfect. No fluff. Simple explanations.
    Amazing job. Thank you.

i would be interested in your results with the tekin esc

I highly recommend the tekin brushed esc. Works and fits perfect in the mini-b.

Curious, what was the total cost of the final configuration vs. a brushless setup, and what'd you put into the project as a whole?

Great question! For the brushed tekin b1r esc was 50 bucks shipped. The latrax 7575x was 20 shipped, and the motor mount to fit the 370 motor was 15. I think for a comparable brushless combo, say the 18a hobbywing with 5200kv motor and programming card for 40-50 bucks. Then the only other thing i did was a battery for 10 bucks and a receiver to use my radio. No savings to run brushed and its slower.

7575r died fast for me with the hw1080. I'm guessing the amps are to high🤷🏽‍♂️ going to try one more with a 25amp esc

could it be possibly be the Amps too high ? , or lower run times with smaller pinions ? but i would be getting onto the company if you have met all the running criteria from the specs . cheers

Does anyone use the MIP ball diff or is the stock gear diff better?

Good question! Im going to put an mip diff in to test. The problem im yrying to fix is the gear diff looses grease over time and then seems to diff out easy. Im hoping the mip diff stays consistent.

that was a awesome race i think that if the marshal was awake and attended to you straight aways you possibly could have came 1st but a podium finish is always great off course winning is even better but the setup on your car was to the letter the only few things you'd need to hit that first place is a brushless system and a real fast/good servo but otherwise that drive you just did was seriously Pro Driving as was very consistent, lines where almost perfect every lap, dude my advise if i can give it from the arm chair lol is go for it Race and get into the big stuff as in 1:8 or 1:10 as you have the skill inbuilt you can just see it hope to see more from you standing in the Podium liked and subbed 100%

Thanks! First couple of laps were bad. I got a slight tap in the very first hairpin and went from 2nd to 4th, then I got into that barrier and needed a marshal. Car was really easy to drive!
