    Your story is incomplete. The son's ("Jim" Blount, Jr.) horse was stolen by the Indians but what became of Blount, Jr? Was he killed or taken captive? Or, even worse, did he run off to Austin to become a politician?

      Thats my Question also Henry what happened to the son ,did he get lost in the woods cutting timber ?
