    I am a 79 yr. old widow. Thank you for your instructions and listing the parts used. I was able to purchase the correct parts and have now reattached my drier hose.

    I didn’t know they made flex hose with connectors-that alone saved me a lot of trouble. Thanks!

    this saved me so much time and money! all i needed was a 90 elbow, HVAC tape and another clamp. I didn't have to buy a whole new vent hose like I originally thought and didn't have to buy online parts either. thanks!

    Excellent job on this Sir! The worst is wrestling in that tight, hot space behind that dryer to get that transition duct just right and tight. Learned another trick the other day that was such an eye-opener. Go in behind the washing machine and pull the dryer out just enough to get your shoulders behind there to do the work, if it's a side by side configuration on the appliances. Thanks so much for the explanation and detailed video.

      I'm behind my dryer now and it is an extremely tight spot. 🤦😩

    Yours was the easiest and most helpful because my exhausted is low on the ground as well. All other videos show them high in the ceiling and you have use the hose. I’m going to but the 24 inch unit you have. Thanks!

    How far back is the dryer from the back wall ? Looks like at least 8 inches due to the bend ?

    You included the parts list but left out the most important part.
    The reducer which you attached to your elbow and the hose.

    Problem 1: the dryer box on the wall is too high, it should be a floor level. Problem 2: you should have used an elbow to fasten the transition hose to the dryer. Good on you for recommending foil duct tape and not using fabric-based duck tape. Duck tape should never used on ducts

    Yes , very easy when your very heavy washer is not in the way. It s a different animal if it is.

    the dryer box is too high. If that was properly installed it would fix a lot of your problems

  • @SheilaSpencer1

    You did not need the elbow; your 24" dryer duct is bendable. You could have eliminated the elbow entirely by just (gently) bending your 24" hose and connecting it directly from the wall piece to your dryer. Done. Good video otherwise. 👍

      @MeandMyStaffy ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The elbow creates a more efficient flow. Its all about air movement. He is correct.
