Bought a hatch back megane a few months ago and love it! Always bought Renault and this is fav one so far. In person the interior is really nice and the ambient lighting on all doors and centre area sets it off nicely. Get a lot of spec for the money compared to the likes of VW or Audi. I’ve actually had compliments on the interior. Hardly any reviewers mention the blandness of VW actually. Always had been dull until very recently
Had a laguna sports Tourer (estate) dynamic 2004 plate for 7 years, great car, extremely comfy, took it to Southern Europe each summer. A far comfier long distance cruiser than my current GTC.
I've just bought a second hand Sport Tourer 2016 model. Absolutely love it. I like the uncluttered cockpit as well and I can't get over the fuel consumption, over my last car which was a petrol scenic 2011, even with I believe the smaller fuel tank in the tourer.
I bought mine 2019 TCe automatik and im all over very happy with the car. It is in my eyes a beautiful estate car. It is very quite and comfortable and makes you fell happy when driving. The LED lights are really something thats sticks out in a positive way. The only thing that im dont think is 100% is the very sensitive gearboks/speeder interaction, it is a bit hard to make a soft start/take off, you really need to touch easy on the speeder or else you will feel it like a rough start, when you had a full stop. Im getting used to as time goes bye.
As nice as the Scenic is I would rather have this new Megane Estate....Just waiting a couple of years for the depreciation to hit so I can grab myself a used bargain

How much mpg did you get?
Some great styling by Renault at the moment. Can't understand why people buy skoda as they all look like they come from the 1990s (Kodiak aside)

Brilliant review mate, I'm seriously considering buying one of these 👍
i think that its a brilliant car, would definitely love to own one
I'm never put off by Richards "big bottom rear"
😂😂
I would advise to go with DCI 130 engine: chain transmission unlike the DCI 110.
Grreat looking car, I had one a 2004 version and it was very good, shame it was so unreliable passed 60k

at 70mph, how is the noise in it?
It doesn't look bad at all! I do agree with the interior. The plane, black plastic dashboard reminds of the Mazda 3 interior. Bland
Lovin those docs rudeboy
I love the new - -
James Wilcox ??
Have one and it's great but wanted to buy rs too bloody expensive.
how is the noise isolation in it?
I would say that it is quite good
😍😍😍😍😍😍
This is not the sport version. No GT seats, no GT front grill, no Sport badge on the trunk.
Sport Tourer refers to it being an estate I think, indded it's not the GT-Line or GT proper.
