    There are some false information about the 4 wheel steering here. This system is always on, not only in sport mode. The difference is that when in sport mode the back wheels turn in the opposite dirrection of the front wheels(away from the corner) up to 80km/h. After 80km/h they turn the same way (into the corner). Now in other modes this change happens at 60km/h.
    Had this car since june and loving it!

      tmkongen yup, you even notice the 4control when you enter a roundabout, feels like the back end is going loose. This thing turns like its on rails.

    Best looking car in the class and that gorgeous blue paint is the nicest I've seen! Wish I could afford one, but until then I'll stick with my trusty Laguna.

    In my country the Megane GT with standard dealer discont starts at 21.000 euro: that's about 18.665 in £ (that is with a 7 inch sat nav , textile seats instead of alcantara, and 17 inch wheels instead of 18 compared with the version from the video), this makes it very attractive price wise as a warm hatch, not sure why in England is so expensive, even with every option you can put on it , it doesn't go over 26.000 euro - 23.110£

      Carbon Tax, New Car Purchase Tax and a multitude of other little add-ons. Also the fact that, well, manufacturers can get away with charging more in the UK because people will actually pay it.

      Octavia in not a hatchback, it is something widely known in the 80's as liftback... and that's a big difference and a boot.

    Nice car BUT for a hot hatch, 2016 Peugeot 208 gti takes it for me. 208hp 0-60 in 6.4 and the look inside and out is just amazing.

  • @BenzinioB
    @BenzinioB 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    I still cant get it... you take such car for its sporty nature and then killing most of it's sportiness adding automatic gearbox... that's stupid! If you like driving drive manual! If you looking for comfort and smoothies go and take the regular diesel version!
    And please save the excuse: it is faster - yes and? you going to win podiums or what?! Even if you do track-days with your warm, hot or fire-breading hatch you'll be much more awarded of the driving with the gear stick. You are doing track for fun and joy not to win a championship and few millisecond doesn't count!

      If u want a slight feel of a manual just put it in manual and use the pads... I know it's not the same but these dct's are more and more common and won't go away :)

    • @BenzinioB
      @BenzinioB 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      tmkongen If I want to use pads... I'll take my nephew PlayStation :) Nothing can replace the stick and the 3rd pedal - at least if someone pretend to be passionate driver.

    • @tmkongen
      @tmkongen 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Benzinio Well that's your opinion and i respect that. I've had a Clio 3 RS for many years so had my fun with a stick. I don't really miss it now either, just enjoying the comfort of not having to shift myself :P

    • @BenzinioB
      @BenzinioB 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      tmkongen So you just lost your "sportiness" and moved to a comfy car. There is nothing wrong with that.
      The wrong is when sport car (no matter hot hatch, purist roadster or super car) for dedicated drivers is auto (at any form).
