She was great in Wicked Little Letters but I didn't get the film at all. Now Wild Rose has both her acting and singing, playing a character you'd desperately want to be your partner but would be too scared of her! She was a baby then and still a very strong performance of a difficult song wow ,Jessie deserves every success she has now ,it’s been a long road babe !

I just got home from watching Judy and had to come back to his song - only to click that Jessie played the secondary lead to Judy (obvs Renée Zellweger) herself!
What a voice! I'm glad Jodie won,I thought she was a terrific Nancy both times I saw her,but I would really like to see Jessie play the part some day.If they do remake the movie she should be given some consideration for it.

I went to see Bernard Butler playing on his own and his banter was great except for a confusing explanation of a change in key or something he did with Jessie that mixed it up a bit. It was a brilliantly muso moment! I guess some in the packed theatre got it!
She can sing well BUT she hasn't got the spark! The passion! The inspiration... that one thing that gave you the chills when you saw Judy singing it... she transmitted her emotions, but this singer didn't
Unfortunately she turned down an opportunity to have a career in musical theatre, which was a serious mistake in my opinion. She is now doing something incomprehensible in Ireland.
Watching this at the time, I knew she'd be a star. I've watched her career bloom like a proud auntie.

Interesting to see Jessie giving an excellent performance in the new movie JUDY.

It’s always struck me as bizarre that Jessie Buckley didn’t win this competition.
She could have played Scarlet O Hara if she had been born a very long time ago.
She was recently in the television series War and Peace. Andrew fell in love with her, and so did I!

I am still disappointed that she went into rather dull drama. She belongs in musical theatre. Judy Garland would have loved her!

She was 18. Give her a few more years of life's experience and she'll be incredible (as she is now proving to be).
"No place like home" gives me chills.
