- Kawasaki’s formidable 250cc motocross machine becomes sharper and more focussed for 2023.
The Kawasaki KX250’s race winning pedigree is already well known, with more AMA Motocross and Supercross championships than any other manufacturer in its class. For 2023, Kawasaki engineers have conspired to deliver a more focussed and racier 250cc four-stroke machine, with changes to the engine, suspension and gearbox. Sam Charlwood put the updated Kawasaki KX250 to the test at one of Australia’s best motocross circuits, Mt Kembla in NSW.

Great review! I'm 5'8" tall and since we are basically the same height, how are you able to swing a leg over these modern motocross bikes with such a high seat height?
I saw one at the local shop & it seemed to be substantially taller than all the other new bikes in the line of Hondas/Kawis 250s & 450s?
And at least it doesn't cut out randomly like the ktm lol. Shame about the two different bolts for airbox.
Just picked mine up Thursday!!
I heard the bolts fall out easy and the plastic are cheap made..is that true because I have been thinking about picking me up a new kx 250

Wow bikes are way more expensive down there
The amount that front fender flaps around would make this bike a non-starter for me if I was looking for a 250f. No excuse for making a fender design that poor.
That track looks is too easy to ride to get a perspective of how a bike performs.
