I highly recommend you add your lower teeth impressions to the mouthguard. You dip the bottom surface of the mouthguard (maybe1-2mm deep) into boiling hot water for 60 seconds, place the guard in your mouth onto your upper teeth, then bite down hard on it. It makes it feel much less bulky and helps you keep your jaw locked instead of it sliding around

@@openheartedwarrior2971 Yes, I actually did it with the standard Gladiator (pro) mouthguard, even though the lower teeth impressions instruction is only given for the thicker Gladiator elite.

Never ever do the boil and bite guys. Those things will cut your gums up. These companies, or going to the dentist are the only real option and well worth the price. Mouth guards last.

so im 17 years old aspiring to be a fighter and im buying gear currently i bought a cheap shock doctor figured it would work so what do you think i should do for an upgrade im limited on money im trying to buy as much as i can kinda trying to buy cheaper stuff but not cheap stuff if you get what im sayin i dont have a job rtn so it’s difficult 🤣
@@randybobandy7236 Lol that's easy for you to say. Most companies won't ship outside of the US or if they do the shipping can cost more than the mouthpiece itself.

I’ve been looking into getting a good mouth guard. I’m not doing boxing or MMA but I’ve caught an elbow in the mouth playing basketball. I’m seriously considering this as a new purchase for when I start back playing football with the guys. Thanks for the review

Would you recommend this mouth guard for someone with a smaller mouth? The mouth guard I have right now is a top and bottom fit mouth guard and feels too big in my mouth, it’s bulky and pushes against the inside of my lips.

Hey Carlo I just got back to boxing after some time off. I'm planning on straightening my teeth with one of those liners so I'm not looking to spend $80 on a mouth guard right now until I finish up fixing pearly whites. What less expensive mouth guard would you recommend in the mean time since I'm assuming I'll have to change it often with my teeth shifting?

How long does it take to get the mold back? That's the main reason I prefer boil and bite. But now i have a chipped tooth. 😂 Do they take a while?

It’s crazy that they charge only 80$ USD for a custom mouth guard. In Canada, my dentist charges 282$ CAD

@@geo_5067 go on jogs more and do high intensity training like on a heavybag do 4 2 minute rounds with a minute between each and build your way up to more time and more rounds with maybe a 30 second break between each and make sure youre getting proper nutrition

I wouldn't. Unless you have perfectly straight teeth, the guy is completely clueless on what to do. He makes a lot of mouth guards for pros... but they never use them. They're really bulky and uncomfortable.
Damn dude I have spar today kind of an old cat starting up bout to be 32 I had this old mouthpiece that I had when I was 23.. if you saw this mouthpiece you toss this shit out the window.. long story short got my ass handed today in the boxing ring I blame the mouthpiece I had... I just cannot breathe for the life of me hopefully this mouthpiece that you're talking about let's be breathe

about a week and a half
I just got mine, it feels snug on my teeth but comes loose a little too easy for comfort, I should probably email them and ask what should be done.

In 9 years your teeth can change! Because of dental fillings, crowns, missing teeth, teeth shifting. I wouldn't save it

This guard looks super thin and designs kinda low quality. They are cheap but not worth in my experience
Are they as rubbish as themouthpieceguy? That con artist will just keep refusing your dental impressions saying they're not good enough, buy more epoxy, and try again. There's no refund. I actually caught on to this guy's scheme. I had my dentist do my impression and I sent it off to MPG, passed it off like I did it. Again, he said it was no good. I cut my losses at that point. I was kinda tipped off to this guy's con when I saw all of his TH-cam videos had almost no likes and a ton of dislikes.
People who use boil and bites, use the Opro power cage. That is nearly as good and even better than some dentist made ones.
Personally, I like my mouth guard similar to the likes of Mayweather... clear, not bulky, able to talk perfectly clear in, able to take water in, and most of all... easy to breath in.
