    I have this, love how it fits.
    I think I’m going to bite the bullet and buy a custom mouth guard though because although this fits absolutely perfect it’s not very shock absorbent.

    I suffer from bruxism..all the dental guards that the doctor made did not work for me because I was grinding them and they broke quickly. I think this type will be suitable for me, but I do not know whether it will have long-term damage or not

    Never even used mine for a single sparring session, because after molding and cooling down, putting it back in feels like it's physically shifting my teeth to fit it properly. Made me feel like my teeth would loosen over time, never mind rock all my teeth together upon impact.

      you probably took them out before they cooled down, then they will shrink more and be too tight. Happened to mine, you can remold them again.

    When I was looking on what mouthguard to get for my fights years ago. I finally locked in on gladiator. I haven’t looked back since either. I tried these to and they were just to thin. I didn’t feel protected and everytime I used it for hard sparring days it definitely cut my gums up. My teeth always felt a little tender after to. I don’t know. The gladiator brand for sure is amazing and they do the same with the impression kit etc.

      For striking I don't like sisu. For grappling I don't like the original sisu, but there's a smaller version they make that is my favorite for grappling.

    I had the Sisu but was always worried it wouldn’t be good enough for sparring. I found it annoying to mold though. And then I left it in my pocket in the dryer and ruined it. Time for a new one.

    i like my sisu, the only complaint i have is when i get punched in the mouth it bleeds easy cuz the inside of my lip grates against the holes. otherwise one of the best mouthguards in the ability for you to talk and drink easy.

  • @TheRattingChap
    @TheRattingChap ปีที่แล้ว

    My teeth clash, so im not under or over shot in any way, the SISU mouthguard is hard plastic, so when I got punched straight to the chin with an uppercut, it offers no protection or cushioning, I just got rattled, a slight cut to my inner lower lip and aching lower teeth for a day of two, I HAVE NOW JUST ORDERED A MOLDED CUSTOM FIT mouthguard, I think the sisu may be good for some sports where breathing is key without the possibility of to much impact but for boxing, mma, and other sports where you will get regular smacks to the jaw I would NOT recommend it.

    I have a question as I can't find it anywhere on the Internet. When fitting the mouth guard, do you just clench your top and bottom teeth or move your bottom jaw forward so your teeth are aligned with your front teeth?

    • @csquaredboxing

    • @youngman7600
      @youngman7600 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Watch_me2023 no protection at all and no shock absorption. Its like having a thin layer of hard plastic molded to your teeth. I could honestly say it's the worse mouthguard you could possibly wear. This guy definitely got paid by SISU to make this video

  • @rafaaa1998
    @rafaaa1998 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    Hi! I am between the oppro gold and the sisu max, which is better?

    • @danield7789
      @danield7789 ปีที่แล้ว

      I have both and tested them. Sisu let’s you close and fix the jaw it’s very slim. The opro fits really good in the upper side. In the lower it doesn’t let you fix the jaw. I’m not sure if it’s better for a mouth guard to be thicker as it should absorbe more impact. Sisu is really thin!

  • @theclassclownhi1264

    The issue is you're wrong about the breathing holes is made to when you buy on it it's going to take some impact off of your mouth and going to impact the mouthguard more so you're wrong about that part though so but the video is good

      @nicksalvatore5717 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      My friend had his front tooth shattered with an expensive custom dental mouth guard in.
      This is less absorbent yes but it actually fits and won’t fly out, also you can close your mouth properly which is what is most important.
      I used to skip wearing my shock doctor all the time because of how poorly it fit, honestly the only option is to just buy a custom one and hope for the best.
