What people don't seem to be understanding is that, other than a few moments when the capybara chewed too hard on the ear or something (and in these instances the capybara immediately got the hint and got gentler), the dog most likely didn't have a problem with this at all and probably appreciated it, despite being a bit weirded out. This was clearly grooming behavior and I think the dog understood that (you can even see an insect come off the dog with the capybara's help at one point). He wasn't just "tolerating" him or being patient, and there's certainly no cause to assume abuse like some have said, he's just recognizes that the capybara is being friendly.

If I were to walk into a friends house and that creature greeted me at the door, honestly my first instinct would be to punt this mutated rat monster across the room then set the building on fire. Border collies have that lovely disposition. They are brilliant, loving dogs.
To be honest the dog actually probably enjoys it since it's pulling a bunch of loose fur and shedding. Except for the part where it was munching its ear.
It’s like every once in awhile, the capybara does gets the zoomie spins as if he’s proud of a job well done grooming the doggo. This is beautiful.
It's always interesting to see how different animals can form friendships.
Capybaras seem like incredibly affectionate creatures.

She is a great girl
when quite young i tried using a match i scrounged up to burn a tick off my labradore's ear. yeah i was young and dumb. he growled a low growl then before i knew it, my neck was in his mouth but not touching his teeth. it took a minute for the low rumbling to stop as he slowly backed off. i didnt say a word. thats why i like dogs and they earn the title of mans best friend. he coulda ripped my throat out because the match must have burnt him but he didnt. that capybera has a good friend to hang with.

The dog looked like he might have been about to near the end when his lips were raising a bit. The owner interrupted when they saw the dog was getting irritated at the capy (the dog might have been thinking the capy was trying to dominate him since it was going over the top of him).

The dog is so well-mannered and passive despite the Capy actually eating at its fur than grooming it, love knows no bounds indeed even though it costs tufts of fur.
The dog is such a respectful and patient, it didn't show any aggressive behavior towards the Capybara.
