He wasn't just "tolerating" him or being patient, and there's certainly no cause to assume abuse like some have said, he's just recognizes that the capybara is being friendly.
This is a 10/10 for the simple fact that there's no crappy background music. Seeing these animals in this relaxed environment interacting with one another in "silence" is very soothing.

when quite young i tried using a match i scrounged up to burn a tick off my labradore's ear. yeah i was young and dumb. he growled a low growl then before i knew it, my neck was in his mouth but not touching his teeth. it took a minute for the low rumbling to stop as he slowly backed off. i didnt say a word. thats why i like dogs and they earn the title of mans best friend. he coulda ripped my throat out because the match must have burnt him but he didnt. that capybera has a good friend to hang with.
