These items will never be remanufactured, they are as rare as King Tut's tomb objects. We're all searching for fragments from a past time, authentic, items. I collect some small eclectic items,...too. I don't care if they are rusty, or worn. Old car hood ornaments from the 1950s. Old mannequins, and tin toys. Lamps and lighting. Kitchen appliances, Art Deco juicers and toasters. My budget is limited, so I only have what I can afford. I have display shelving, to show them off and to enjoy looking at them. I wish I owned some land, because I would buy some not working, rusting cars from the 1950s, to have sitting, in a green pasture. I have a house and yard, but my city does not allow, people to have old, not working cars, in their yards.

I’m not an expert on caring for exotic animals but from what I see the only mistake she has made in taking care of the Capybara is not giving him a friend other than that he seems very well taken care and making a single mistake does not make you a bad pet owner
The first guy seemed obsessed, the lady and her pet capybara didn’t look like an obsession. If so, then anybody who takes care of a fancy show-dog has an obsession.
That dude showed way too much excitement with the bar. "Oh my god, this is so rare and I need it now--how much do you want for it".."Umm... how's about $2000 for this crappy bar I have sitting in a junkyard?".."Hmm.. well I guess $1500 is ok". Get the heck out man, that thing isn't worth even $400 but hey if it's what you've been looking for for years then go for it man, just play it cool next time.
Value is not determined solely by what people will pay. Period. This guy has been collecting this stuff for a long time, so i'm sure he's well aware what a fair market value for this kind of stuff is. BUT.....i get what you're saying about withholding your excitement during bargaining. That said, this type of show is all manufactured anyway, so it's likely the bar wasn't even there, and was acquired by the producers, and they acted out a purchasing scene to make good TV.
You know he was going to be put through the ringer when he showed that type of excitement and kept saying how "rare" it was. If I was the seller, I would have saw dollar signs. Cha Ching... Cha Ching... Cha Ching!

There are plenty of other activates for kids to do and people to meet. Animals as pets only have so many options, so i think it's justified.
Same thing with many older people and their pets.
I understand he's excited to find the bar, but showing such enthusiasm when he found it makes it much harder to negotiate.
The first part with the plane isn’t crazy, it’s straight cool having his home look like the inside of an old plane
First class and with a lounge no less!
Yeah, but he's too into it. He naps there and spends 3 hours after work just sitting in one of those old uncomfortable seats.
@@B_Bodziak it's weird sleeping in your own house? He did a lot to make it, I think if you'd spent a lot of time making something and did a really good job at it too, you'd damn well would want to use it, I would too.

The guy should rent out his plane as an AirBnB or something. I think he'd do well enough, actually. Plus, it would give him an extra source of income so that he can buy more PanAm crap.
I don't think he would want to share it. Someone might pee on a seat or something. If you notice, he wouldn't even use the foot rests himself. He knew how much the repair would be (if even possible, considering how old/rare that stuff is).
He already started something similar to that. It's called the Pan Am Experience.
Bahahaha I love how you very nicely offer some great advice to help this dude earn some extra cash, and then call his Pan-am collection crap. 🤣
He rents it out for Hollywood productions and as a hotel.
The problem is he wouldn’t want strangers inside. He wouldn’t trust anybody he doesn’t know to save his life

True. I like how excited he got when he found the bar, but then that guy took advantage of that. $2000 for something rotting away in the weather? That shouldn't have been more than 500 at the most!
Has the production team never been on the internet before? Everyone is in love, and obsessed over capybaras. And I wouldn’t say she’s obsessed, she just really loves her Capybara.
Ok i pull up
This lady really talking telepathically to a animal... Lmao how much does she get paid to lie.
That's what I wanna know! 😂
Not enough
Seriously though. I can pretend to talk to animals telepathically if the price is right.
Wait, but you gus didn't see his reaction to, when the psychic was telling him, he dead on stopped chewing and stared at her
@@samanthanavarro2095 If she could really talk to them. Then she would have told him that this is normal behavior for them. You get two behaviors with them. If there handraised they act more like the one that passed away. If they are not handraised by people they act like this one.
There is nothing crazy or weird about these two people.
The only crazy and weird one is the lady in the end who can “talk to animals telepathically” ...
You'd be surprised anyone without extrasensory can telepathically communicate with a cat with practice and bonding why do you think witches have them 😊
You're right the only crazy one was that communicator and the guy narrating made it seem like she was a fucking superhero.
The airplane guy was a lil crazy imo but he is just living his best life so I dig it.
Zara Thompson yeah
The lady who can “lie to poor people who are struggling with their animals and just want to know what’s going on in their head that she can talk to animals to make some cash”

What exactly could you not believe about this lady?
@@kevinh3979 LOL, she used common sense.. he's lonely, (duh he's the only capy here) he's never slept in a bed before, (uses information lady gave her, and spins it right back to her) you have to be stupid to believe she's Dr. Dolittle. 🤣
she clearly has a mental health issue. animal whisperer taking advantage. i just wanna know how much she got paid, cause i bet she charged a grip. 🥴
he shouldn’t have told doug how rare the bar is because obviously he jumped the price up lol
Right
Yeah he showed his cards right off the bat (to mix metaphors😁)
Totally agree😀
Thats exactly what I was thinking smh
People, take it from someone who has done this type of production, the deal was made long before the tv shoot. It was just staged for you. A release had to be signed by all and a filming license bought from the city prior. TV is not real. There is no such thing as reality tv.
the capybara really pulled up to the after party
He pulled up
“so much that she celebrates his birthday” eh who doesnt celebrate their pet’s birthday
I hope he doesn't eat the paper.
I plan to do the same with my umbrella cockatoo. But it's mainly because he's turning twenty-one and I thought it would be funny to get a picture of him standing next to a wine bottle. XD
Stevie Chan I LOVE THAT
I pretty much include my pet with every holiday other than the 4th
I KNOW RIGHT. I just finished buying my 3 dogs Christmas presents, snacks, and stocking’s. They wouldn’t be here without God, why not help them celebrate. Eh? Eh?
The first guys recreation is absolutely fabulous! He mastered the whole process! I would love to visit that garage.
Shout out to Anthony! That is a cool obsession. No more (crazy) than folks who restore antique cars, motor cycles, and other vehicles.
I think it's really cool what Anthony is doing. It's like preserving history, almost like a museum.
right! i would love to have vntage sets in a victorian era two story house with wallpaper, and carpet. with some dark wood it would look beautiful, some candles for lifhting here and there. i love when people preserve things.
Right?! This is pretty awesome. It’s so rare to see folks genuinely passionate about something these days. Go anything!
Yea this is really cool
I have been to this lady's home and swum with one of her capybaras, Skipper! She is absolutely delightful, her home is beautiful, and it was honestly one of my favorite things I've ever done!

Except another Capybara, which is almost certainly why he's so depressed. It's actually kind of cruel to keep just one as a pet. Still, I agree, I wouldn't call her obsessed and she definitely loves him.. I just wish she would read a little about them because she'd easily find out the problem.
Definitely NOT responsible. That is NOT an animal to be kept indoors alone. It's not a dog & shouldn't be treated as one
I’m not an expert on caring for exotic animals but from what I see the only mistake she has made in taking care of the Capybara is not giving him a friend other than that he seems very well taken care and making a single mistake does not make you a bad pet owner

That dude showed way too much excitement with the bar. "Oh my god, this is so rare and I need it now--how much do you want for it".."Umm... how's about $2000 for this crappy bar I have sitting in a junkyard?".."Hmm.. well I guess $1500 is ok". I thought the same, he should’ve not shown that much interest
Plus capybara are not crap dog are crap because dog are rude but capybara is the most friendliest thing in the world so

I was sad to find out that they were not available that day. I've also looked up if I could have one in my state, and alas I cannot. But I will always love them from afar. This woman's "obsession" is one I completely understand lol. Some of us just really love a certain animal.

Do people want to get freaky with their dogs.. I hope not! It's like a big dog to her, and her companion. They are the most peaceful animal and get along with all creatures. That makes them super sweet.

Capybaras grow bigger so I’m also kinda surprised at 2-years old the little guy is still small, and yeah he does need space and social life with other capybaras (hopefully this women didn’t get more if you think about it then) but yeah they deserve to be in the wild and NOT “locked” in a house
