This reminds me of years ago when one of the Humboldt penguins preferred the life of a pampered Kitchen Penguin (and was slowly being coaxed and trained to live in the habitat and socialize with other penguins). The penguin nestled in the little box nest under the desk while I tried to do things and would follow me around the habitat while I cleaned. Another of the penguins managed to squirt me with the hose I was using to clean by beaking the nozzle at just the right angle. I'm pretty sure it was on purpose, birds are just too smart. One of my favorite exhibits to work, I truly miss volunteering.
