Give it the breathing space, 8 studs each side, minimum. Paths leading to the doors lined with bushes or flowers. I'd personally take the gazebo out, move the farm and and place the gazebo next to the botanical garden, make more of an outside garden space, rather than having the farm in the middle.
@@TheGalantHamburger yep, shove the farm up against the raised platform, it's a bit of non-area, I prefer the city side more than the countryside. But if you move the farm up, you can have a much better space for garden and gazebo area, maybe add a picnic bench or two, little fountain.
A real botanical garden would have and outdoor garden and then a greenhouse/indoor area so definitely needs some space around the building with a path and more plants.
thank you so much for trying out this MOC. I’m glad you enjoyed the modifications and I look forward to seeing your personal touches to further incorporate it into your city 😊
it's always nice to see my Old fishing store in a Lego city layout. Even my self don't have the Old fishing store in my lego city. I have the other sea front buildings the dive shop ,diner and the boat repair shop in my city so seeing it in your city every day. It's time to make some changes to place it alswel.
Have you thought about putting it beside the bonsai tree park!? I feel they would go together great and would be awesome to ride the train past! Plus, as a botanic garden it would be a huge attraction for locals so it would fit well! You could maybe put the building site into the pop culture street and recreate some superhero fight scenes with it too!!!
That looks good and doesn't even have a Friends vibe, so it works well. I like the idea of a door in front right off the sidewalk besides having the other doors to enter the gardens from the main building.
Never seen a friends set I cared about despite the love for them, until now. This set is absolutely awesome, not only do you get some amazing parts for building your own creations but it looks great on display and I'm sure kids will love playing with it. This double up looks incredible, it's a shame it's cramped but the outside looks absolutely stunning!
For now the 8 studs on each side is a good start. I would LOVE to see it as a real botanical garden with more room and outside gardens because just as is its really just a greenhouse but with what room allows 8 studs on either side it the way to go
We built this too and I added paths on either side to give it space and make it look better/ make sense in a city. The 48x48 would've been easier in the end, but I didn't want to have that much behind it - my city doesn't work as well with that depth.
love this so much! in terms of placement, you could raise the whole building by 3 plates' height - or even more! - and build a sloped walk way on either side with landscaping and shrubbery that can help the whole building integrate into the surroundings and give it prominence that the fantastic dome so naturally commands and deserves (this may mean setting it recessed by a few studs from the pavement, which would give you room for more plants and stuff)
Those picnic areas will will look nice on the grounds between the arboretum and the food trucks. Now you needs an outdoor arena in that area for concerts and entertainment! You’re very inspiring!
its amazing how good some of those friend sets are. I might try and see if it looks better on the other side of the farm near the gazebo and nature area.
I'd say move the farm back a bit and basically switch it with the gazebo. That way you have some nice outdoor space that you can finish off with some more gardens, flowers and plants. Besides; it makes sense that farm would be further away from the city.
I really like the look of this rebrickable model by Brickartisan! I love the pop of colour it provides and the techniques used to accomplish the dome and little ponds. Another fantastic rebrickable model by Brickartisan!
i feel like for a really good sized botanical gardens there should be like another baseplate behind it with maybe a short wall, all kinds of crazy trees and flowers with paths
I’m so glad you did this model. I bought 2 sets and BAs instructions too. Just waiting for space haha. Would love to see you add some paths on either side and a picnic area if there’s room. Thanks for the great content!
I would place the garden right against the farm and make a path that leads through the fence and then I would leave 16 studs on the left for an outdoor seating area for the bakery that leads into the botanical garden
This looks good to make it simpler maybe build a mils plate that is 1.5 base plates then add the paths to just make it more simple - breathing space is good for it - looks stylish well done Jordan 😊
Give it the breathing room but fill the space with more flowers. You can build a stone path on the side by the buildings to allow access to the back alley as well.
Another option for keeping it to 32x32, rotate it 90 degrees. Then one door by the bench is facing the street and the other do faces the open green area in the rear which could eventually be the farmer’s market and minifigs could enter from the farmer’s market as well.
I am building this one now and my sticker sheet was missing. Asked for a replacement but they don’t have one. 😢. I love the idea of a double size one ! Looks great !
José's bakery looks more like a cake than a Lego set. When you were showing what the garden looked like after you finished it, somebody was sorting Lego or mixing Lego or were doing something with Lego. I could hear Lego being moved in the background. I'm not really a big fan of lego friends but the designer's really used some great pieces for that set.
You could rotate it 90 degrees so the door would be on the side and the waterfall feature could be seen from the sidewalk. Then they could use the other door to exit and go to the farmers market you want to add. Either way great video love seeing all the cool stuff you do and keep it up awesome!!
Just a thought, but since you've cannibalized a lot of your ship in a bottle, you could finish the job and turn the ship into a playground for a minifig kids
That is a gorgeous build! I have been wanting one for a while, but I think I will get two of them. I like the idea of having that doubled one on four baseplates and have trees and more pathways and I think I could put my bonsai tree in there along with paths and build a little pond. But you do you. I don't have a whole lego city to worry over.
We built our own moc from 2 sets. We made it on a bigger plate with a larger pond, garden beds, larger flowering tree, longer path with a flower covered garden arch
I'm very happy that we got the botanical garden, together with it, we got 2x3 window frames in sand green again, so there will finally be a cheaper way to purchase the cube bank 🙂
Turn the set so that the ponds face the farm. That way, there will be access from the street to one of the doors, and the other door will be accessible from where you are wanting to put the farmers market.
I think it would be ideal to have green space all around it but I understand that you have limited space in your city. Speaking about “Friends”, a few videos ago (maybe last week) when you put the fountain by the SitComplex I was thinking that you could put the (TV show) Friends mini figs in the fountain like the intro to the show.
Amazing MOC!! I also saw a few MOCs that could be added onto Pop-Culture Street. Plz add the SitCom Suite; saw a build for McClaren Pub (How I Met Your Mother) & the apartments from both HIMYM & Fraiser.
I used brick artisans instructions and doubled this up a couple weeks ago and I absolutely love it!!! he’s a brilliant designer. Nobody has those curved plates in their inventory.🤣 I was able to build it without the extra two, it looks fine without them. he also has a cool set of instructions out for a 48 x 48 base plate that the gardens sit in but anybody could figure that out on their own.
Maybe rotate the botanical garden by 90 degrees so one of the doors is facing towards the street and the other door on the other side can lead to a small park/continuation of the botanical garden. anyway love ur vids! :)
Rotate it 90 degrees with a path from the road to the front door then another path from the back door to either the farmers market or move the gazebo behind it and lead the path that that.
Hey, did you try to rotate it 90 degree? I think thats worth a try, maybe that way it can connect to the farmers market. Or just have one of the pond be more protected from the steet.
Why do you use green base plates on the bottom when most of the time you need them for the top for grass and use a colorfull one for the bottom where its noy seen?
Nice. I have a question and I hope you could answer it. I like the part where you video the build of this set. The view from above. May I know how you did this? I am also building plastic scale model and I just started to record my builts. But I had recorded it from the side. But I like the view from above. Many thanks in advance for your reply and time.
I love Brick Artisan's MOD but I think it's too symmetrical. If you want to keep it on a 32x32 with access on that plate, you could make it an L shape instead of a T shape. Then you would be able to put a pathway to that angled door in that space and you could make the pond bigger, etc. Love your channel!
Most of his modular buildings are Rebrickable designs, that isn't a bad thing at all though because why make something yourself when other people can do it and sometimes have done it perfectly already?
Not give it space on each side I think destroys the Aesthetics, Real Beauty one would treat with respect... I visualize that it would look good to make a path on each side! Other buildings and stuff may have to give way for the "Reserved" beauty space !!!
Give it the breathing space, 8 studs each side, minimum. Paths leading to the doors lined with bushes or flowers. I'd personally take the gazebo out, move the farm and and place the gazebo next to the botanical garden, make more of an outside garden space, rather than having the farm in the middle.
I'll def be putting mine on a 48x48 mils but yeah looks great!
I agree, begging for the extra space a 48x48 plate will bring, solves the space for mini figs issue on the outside nicely, too cramped at the minute
@@TheGalantHamburger yep, shove the farm up against the raised platform, it's a bit of non-area, I prefer the city side more than the countryside. But if you move the farm up, you can have a much better space for garden and gazebo area, maybe add a picnic bench or two, little fountain.
To add, I think the extra green space would be a great place to have the Farmer's market too!
You are literally one of the most impressive MOC builders on the planet. Thank you for what you do.
I built your version as well. It's so beautiful! Thank you for sharing your design!
beautiful design! Your MOC is on my list!
Brick Artisan! I have bought SO many sets just because of the alt builds you have made! You are great!
Hi brickartisan. It's my first time thinking of doing a moc. Would you be kind enough to give me a discount this moc build? Appreciate it heaps
Plus, with the eight studs on either side...you can add small ponds at the bottom of the water falls.
Really nice build. I would definitely go with the option to have 8 studs on each side for paths and plants.
I think you should put the door in the middle it would look better if they walk through that tunnel
it's always nice to see my Old fishing store in a Lego city layout. Even my self don't have the Old fishing store in my

one of my favorites of this year release. I need to get a second one and finish it to place it on my city too
That looks good and doesn't even have a Friends vibe, so it works well. I like the idea of a door in front right off the sidewalk besides having the other doors to enter the gardens from the main building.
Never seen a friends set I cared about despite the love for them, until now.

This double up looks incredible, it's a shame it's cramped but the outside looks absolutely stunning!
£150 is alot but I might have to get 2 when they go on sale or I get a voucher. Brick artisan absolutely killed it.
The boatanical garden looks so good. I love the detail and how you finished the dome.
For now the 8 studs on each side is a good start. I would LOVE to see it as a real botanical garden with more room and outside gardens because just as is its really just a greenhouse but with what room allows 8 studs on either side it the way to go
Beautiful Building! Thanx for giving this information.
Looks lovely! I would let it breath, putting two 8-studs wide gardens on each side, leaving the sand green framed windows in the front
Agree with you on making a door for the front and windowing off the sides. Maybe add a parking lot on one side?
maybe you've should have mils it on base plate plus half base plate with fixed side walkes on both sides.
We built this too and I added paths on either side to give it space and make it look better/ make sense in a city. The 48x48 would've been easier in the end, but I didn't want to have that much behind it - my city doesn't work as well with that depth.
Que the music : does it come with a Lego frog?
love this so much! in terms of placement, you could raise the whole building by 3 plates' height - or even more!

Wondering if you saw the other x2 modifications of the set. Some of them look better and have the sidewalk.
lovely, i would integrate it into the forest
if you open the instruction booklet it tells you what the plants are and what they look like in real life.
awesome video jordan the double botanical garden looks amazing great job
Really cool MOC. Go for the 8 stud option; give it some breathing room.
i can not wait to get a few of these sets. its such a great set
amazing
Great build, fantastic transition in the city!
Deffinatly needs the space on the sides and like the two doors like an entrance and exit.
Cool, hope ur channel grows even more also, whoever is reading this have a great day😊
I love it. Thanks for sharing your build. I think gardens with meandering paths either side would look great.
I’m so glad you did this model. I bought 2 sets and BAs instructions too. Just waiting for space haha. Would love to see you add some paths on either side and a picnic area if there’s room. Thanks for the great content!
I think it would fit very nice in the campground!
Botanical garden looks great! Might look good with a sculpture garden on the side of some type? Modern, free-form, colorful?
I would place the garden right against the farm and make a path that leads through the fence and then I would leave 16 studs on the left for an outdoor seating area for the bakery that leads into the botanical garden
Wow that looks amazing! I recommend to have a 8 stud path on ether side😄
i think you better use all the space there for this new building , push it back and make a cool garden around it with beautiful trees and flowers
Absolutely beautiful one of the best videos I’ve seen on TH-cam, I’d like to see another botanical garden above the zoo if possible.
If you switch some of the plants, you can place the ones you take out in the mansion greenhouse
Another option for keeping it to 32x32, rotate it 90 degrees. Then one door by the bench is facing the street and the other do faces the open green area in the rear which could eventually be the farmer’s market and minifigs could enter from the farmer’s market as well.
To save space for another 16 wide building, I think go with modifying the front window or a door. Just a thought. Keep Brickin.
I am building this one now and my sticker sheet was missing. Asked for a replacement but they don’t have one. 😢. I love the idea of a double size one ! Looks great !
Some murals on modular building side walls would look nice. Maybe tiles on plates?
Love your videos. So inspiring
That's such a beautiful build
José's bakery looks more like a cake than a Lego set.
When you were showing what the garden looked like after you finished it, somebody was sorting Lego or mixing Lego or were doing something with Lego. I could hear Lego being moved in the background.
I'm not really a big fan of lego friends but the designer's really used some great pieces for that set.
Expand the MILS plate into 48x32 so you can have 8 stud wide walkways on both sides.
I wish I could do what you do! Your videos inspire me to just follow my passions. Keep up the good videos!
Man, you have the best videos. I’m thinking of making a lego city and I’m just gathering ideas from your creations. Keep going 🤙
Hi! I think leave the space on both sides, looks much better.
That is a gorgeous build! I have been wanting one for a while, but I think I will get two of them. I like the idea of having that doubled one on four baseplates and have trees and more pathways and I think I could put my bonsai tree in there along with paths and build a little pond. Give it the 8 studs on each side it will pop out better.
Love the videos bricksie

Awesome work Sir 😍
Turn the set so that the ponds face the farm. That way, there will be access from the street to one of the doors, and the other door will be accessible from where you are wanting to put the farmers market.
You should put it so that the back is facing at the modular buildings
Dude I want to make that now!! Super cool video.
I think you should remove the gazebo and move the botanical garden back a little and add vegetation to make it have a more fitting environment
Keep up the good work
Place in the middle, with access from the 2 roads
I used brick artisans instructions and doubled this up a couple weeks ago and I absolutely love it!!! he’s a brilliant designer. Nobody has those curved plates in their inventory.🤣 I was able to build it without the extra two, it looks fine without them. he also has a cool set of instructions out for a 48 x 48 base plate that the gardens sit in but anybody could figure that out on their own.
You can build 2 corners buildings to go beside the farm😮
Been waiting to see this!!! ❤❤❤
Maybe rotate the botanical garden by 90 degrees so one of the doors is facing towards the street and the other door on the other side can lead to a small park/continuation of the botanical garden. anyway love ur vids! :)
Bricksie your ship in the bottle is a ship wreck 🥁😂
You could just display your ship in a bottle as a broken bottle 🤷♂ It's that vintage look 🤌
I think it might look better near the fountain...
Rotate it 90 degrees with a path from the road to the front door then another path from the back door to either the farmers market or move the gazebo behind it and lead the path that that.
I’ve never had a Lego set before
Hey, did you try to rotate it 90 degree? I think thats worth a try, maybe that way it can connect to the farmers market. Or just have one of the pond be more protected from the steet.
Hi bricksie great build why don’t you turn it 90 degrees and have the doors front and back
Why do you use green base plates on the bottom when most of the time you need them for the top for grass and use a colorfull one for the bottom where its noy seen?
Maybe put it at a 45 degree angle?
Why not add the bottle ship on the beach? Kinda like a mini boat
Design looks like it was modeled after Detroit’s Belle isle Conservatory
Lego Friends Botanic garden is one off the best sets ever made, especially 2 X sets It is EPIC!!!!!😱😱😱😱😍🤌💥💥💥💥💥 Is belong 100% in the City👍
Nice. I have a question and I hope you could answer it. I like the part where you video the build of this set. The view from above. May I know how you did this? you have made so many great MOCs yourself - surprised you went this route of using someone elses idea??
Most of his modular buildings are Rebrickable designs, that isn't a bad thing at all though because why make something yourself when other people can do it and sometimes have done it perfectly already?
Hey Bricksie, i am your fan, but Why do you not finish the projects? Amusement Park, farm, etc
Hey brick can I have one free Lego set?
Not give it space on each side I think destroys the Aesthetics, Real Beauty one would treat with respect... I visualize that it would look good to make a path on each side!
Other buildings and stuff may have to give way for the "Reserved" beauty space !!!
Funny how on the sticker cactus is green and liana is dark green & in reality they are dark tan and very dark green. Didn't anyone notice it?😆
