The size of your city really deserves the double modular buildings. I’m really curious how you will double Assembly Square since this is still for sale. Keep up the good work and take some rest after your trip!
My idea to make the interior a bit more interesting/lively is a small kids corner with a rug maybe bean bag low bookshelves a small push button coffee machine in the corner (I saw mugs so wondered where coffee was coming from). And if you put mini figs inside maybe someone sitting at a chair with a dog next to them or a person with their guide dog to be inclusive. At bookstore counters they have a little gift bin or shelf to try to sell you more things. Or framed art on the wall as you walk up the stairs 😊
If I was to get another bookshop I would mirror build the townhouse, think it would look better. Good job tough can’t wait to see what you do with the other modulars
The double bookshop is a great idea! But I would make the whole building a bookshop...maybe even a cafe counter on the First floor with seating outside.
This looks great - a big improvement. Does make you wonder if other modulars would look good doubled up (although 64 stud wide buildings may get a little hard to handle!).
Love the bookstore and the vibe it has! I now have a craving for a large vintage library modular building with lots of rows of books inside and reading tables and such. A few small ideas if you ever go about further enhancing that building: Maybe on the 2nd floor one of the three-stud sides could have a small bit of ivy for a little bit of a color pop. Also; the big 12 window grid feels a little too industrial compared to the rest of the building. Breaking it up a little bit or something might be the cherry that this treat needs. ;)
I love it! But i think you should remove a couple window pieces from the top floor and do the grey trimming around the windows, it would look a little less like a grid with the 10 windows instead of the 12.
Jordan, I just wanted to thank you for consistently uploading everyday. Your videos bring me joy and happiness and inspire me to keep building and buying Lego sets. Thank you so much
You should add another tree to the other side of the building. It looks super cool already but think it would be more cool if Birch Books was flanked by birch trees.
I wonder if light grey palisade bricks would add a bit more detail in place of the tiles on the columns? I like the new size of it. It definitely benefited from being doubled.
I really like this but I think it deserves a nice brick built library sign to do it justice. Eventually I think i'm going to turn mine into the corner modular (the one with the big book) as i think that will suit my city better.Keep up the great work :)
I have to say aside from making a better interior, I think architecturally the original is in better proportions and the Dutch gable was more true to life. But to each their own and this is yours :)
Have you considered corner building? It can be build really good one from 2 sets and using only bookshop parts. Ive done that in my city and it is really really good one:)
I just finished the video and now the bookshop really looks like a european school house. Where I live at all of the old school houses have a similar roof and those huge dormer things on top. Maybe you could convert it into an old school and design your own bookstore with a much more logical layout than the original?
Let’s Focus on getting a warehouse, to expand the cities size - building more space overall - forget doubling Modulars, get the amusement park finished.
Bricksie, the House Up, would two of them not fit in with the not MOCed houses, that used to sit besides the bookstore? I feel like the Bookstore is now more for the industrialist older section of the city, while the side house are more outer edge city/villages style builds. I think you might want to do some reshuffling of houses, The side houses would sit better near the farmers market, for one. Also, that backside of the top floor, suggest you look at your curved slopes, might let you improve that lower look. Unless you just copy that roof structure to the other side of that roof, as well, that is. I've seem Brick World, here on youtube, using sets like Central Perk, the new friends bedrooms and so on, to create a building. He has a german and a english (international) channel, here on youtube. I think you might like what he does. He did improve the Brick Bank, his is now owned by Wayne Financial (german update 283). But I think you will love that station build of his. Also, the early modulars don't have a interior, right? So will you alter that or did you already do this?
Maybe its an idea to use 2 or 3 of your pet shops models to make 1 bigger pet shop (32x32 and maybe an extra floor), I think it would look better than how it is now.
Surely it makes more sense to use your limited space for variety vs just making everything bigger? You’re just painting yourself into a corner for the future.
The Book shop modular was such a disappointment for me when it came out. The outside looks somewhat decent but the interior is just very poor being very similar to the Pet shop modular that came out almost 10 years before
My favorite thing about this is the two townhouses side by side, it is more of what you typically see where I live rather than a single stand alone.
One minute ago this was uploaded! I came at the perfect time - it’s bricksie o clock!
For me the video took 9 minutes until it appeared, I've got notifications on as well
"That´s what she said"

That looks great, i love the bookshop set, just looks cozy especially with the fall leafs
Maybe add a second birch tree on the right side of the building and have them both arch inward toward the store entrance?
This looks great - a big improvement. Does make you wonder if other modulars would look good doubled up (although 64 stud wide buildings may get a little hard to handle!).

You did a great job with the double bookshop ! Get some well deserved rest from your trip ! Thanks for all you do ! :)
Today’s build was such a fun addition! Your city is absolutely amazing! (Perfect location(s) as-is!)
I haven’t been disappointed by any of your builds or videos! Thanks for the awesome Lego entertainment and motivation to get my city going!!
For the townhouses, you should change the direction of the front steps on the right side one, so that the steps come down towards each other.
I love it! But i think you should remove a couple window pieces from the top floor and do the grey trimming around the windows, it would look a little less like a grid with the 10 windows instead of the 12.
I absolutely love it. It is so welcoming and looks cozy.

Looks great! The books stores in my area all have coffee bars, so that might be something to think about adding to the interior.
Awesome Build. Looks great in the City. The Town Houses would look cool if 1 was mirrored of the original other.
I just caught up on a weeks worth of videos I missed due to work. All the new changes to the city look great!!
awesome video jordan the double book shop looks amazing great job
The new book shop looks good, you would never know it didn't come that way in the first place.
If it wasn't considered before you can also mirror the second townhouse. Have both doors on the inside and bay windows on the outside.
the bookshop looks fantastic.
Amazing video as always
You should add another tree to the other side of the building. It looks super cool already but think it would be more cool if Birch Books was flanked by birch trees.
Awesome job with doubling it up
you need to double the size of the lego room! 😊
I wonder if light grey palisade bricks would add a bit more detail in place of the tiles on the columns? I like the new size of it. It definitely benefited from being doubled.
I love it. Great job.
Yay he's back bricks in the six was good but it doesn't beat being in the Lego room
Love the way it came out!
Very cool looking. 🎉
That’s the way forward! Doubling or even tripling the Modular’s, that’s what I do to most of mine, go big or go home
I really like this but I think it deserves a nice brick built library sign to do it justice. Eventually I think i'm going to turn mine into the corner modular (the one with the big book) as i think that will suit my city better.Keep up the great work :)
The two townhouses would look great if one was built as a mirror image of the other.
Great video! Have you considered building one of the blue apartments as a mirror of the other? Might look really cool together like that!
Wow love the city you inspired me to start my own
Love your update.
I just did mine love what you doing with yours!! Seeing you do
Very Nice!
He’s too powerful!
Great job!
I love Canada every Canadian I've met was an awesome person
Watching daily! Amazing channel. Got me into lego
It aint no bookshop no more...
Its a librairy🎉
Garage fun expansion ×3
I have to say aside from making a better interior, I think architecturally the original is in better proportions and the Dutch gable was more true to life. But to each their own and this is yours :)
Instead of going wide, I’d go high. Add an extra floor to the modulars. It will save you space on the city grid…
You should add a coupe parking garages so people have lots of space to park
Have you considered corner building? It can be build really good one from 2 sets and using only bookshop parts. Ive done that in my city and it is really really good one:)
looks good, but did you consider using some kind of profile brick between the front windows? plates look a little off to me.
You should mirror the second blue house and have the two stairs curve into the middle.
I tried that but didn’t like the look of it so put it back to the original.

I think you should make every areas sidewalks have their own colors/designs. Just an idea.
Looks awesome, I do think now the books store needs another floor duplicate of 2nd floor
It looks great! Excited to see what building you will dubble next time?
Yep more space needed to double the city.

So will you alter that or did you already do this?
If you want you can try to create a laboratory in it.
Question..why have a book in a display window if it's covered by a book case?
Don't question Lego logic! 😁
@@memyselftheone not questioning, just asking for clarification.
@@memyselftheone sorry I asked
No, it turned out nicely. Not probably turned out nice, definitely did
When are u going to finish the hotel
Wow I never see a video this fast!
Enjoyed your brick of the six vid double book shop set
I would love to shrink to minifig scale and explore your city
The bottom is so gray maybe a nugget stripe and or footing details?
I like it 👌
Maybe its an idea to use 2 or 3 of your pet shops models to make 1 bigger pet shop (32x32 and maybe an extra floor), I think it would look better than how it is now.
That's the plan 😉
if you actually look at the store front on the box you showed us - youll see its all glass store front... like only the space between is not.
Surely it makes more sense to use your limited space for variety vs just making everything bigger? You’re just painting yourself into a corner for the future.
Id change the house numbers
there are to much windows on the top tbh maybe extend the grey trim instead
It may not be the tallest building in your city, but it has the most stories.
Twice the house number 107? The letter carrier will be confused. 🙂
The Book shop modular was such a disappointment for me when it came out. The outside looks somewhat decent but the interior is just very poor being very similar to the Pet shop modular that came out almost 10 years before

I feel like I ran into you at the Sherway Gardens Lego store Pick a Brick wall and didn’t realize who you were? 😅
Lol I think that's the mall we were at
Why do I hate the word cheese slope for some reason?
:)
Insanity
Idk how you spend so much money to make the buildings look worse.
