I don't know if you or someone else ever mentioned it but: The portal that Belos created, with titan blood at the graveyard, is leading to the place Eda found the portal when she was younger
Its more of a vage fact I noticed, but I think its worth mentioning it. The Collector doesnt get very angry at Terra until she insults King. I know she insulted practically both in her line, but the Collector isn't shown to grow really angry at her (as shown by their eyes, which start glowing every time they get really upset.) until after she insults King as well. This could solidify the Fact, that the Collector really sees King as their best Friend and implies how betrayed they must had felt, once they discovered that King was lying about their friendship.
I kinda wish you mentioned two things 1. Luz being in Eda's nest surrounded by her light glyphs is a callback to season 1 episode "The Intruder". 2. That Boscha was wear a red horn headband, similar to the one that Star wore in Star Vs The Forces Of Evil.
Something I noticed is when The Collector is watching King, Eda, and Lilith he gets slightly sad and upset when they mention King's dead family :( Edit: Omg, ty for the likes! :D

idk if u said this but in episode 1, luz give king the crown of her toy azura. The crown has the same shape as the castle the collector and king are at.
In Adventures in the Elements, Eda says that if Luz follows what Eda say, she can do something like what Amity did blasting a tree away with a training wand. In For The Future, Luz manages to level out a hill using a blast from her palisman.
I know its not from this episode, but its a detail I havent really realized until recently. Either Vee had Roman history in school, as she was pretending to be Luz or she was interested in it by herself. Why I think this? In the episode "Yesterdays Lie" when Luz asked her what her Name was she answered with Vee. Which is very interesting since the only two names she had up til then were Luz and Number Five. Both of whom she didn't wanna or couldn't use, so she came up with a made up name. The name she chose was Vee, spelled V e e , which sounds just like the letter V, which in the roman Counting system stands for the number five, which was her Serial Number under Belos.
Nice one though she may have just remembered that her number also looks like the letter V and went with that. Side note I kinda thought Vee's choice of name and number was a V for vendetta reference.
So if you take the first word of every episode name, it spells out "Thank For Watching" and when I found this out I almost cried 😭😭😭😭 Thanks For Watching To The and Them Future Dreaming
We also do get a brief look at a glyph combo that Belos uses to gain access to his Grimwalker lab which might be a construction glyph combo. Also we see that either Belos was always unstable after The Collector turned him into goo or that Vee's magic draining she did on him in Thanks to them was more effective than we thought cause as Belos makes his way to the lab he's constantly breaking down bit by bit.
That painting in the collectors room where the titan/collector dressed as a titan and is gripping a spear is incredibly similar to one of the murals in kings tower
I realised that in thanks to them, Luz says “you’re gonna be okay” to flapjack just like how she said that to hunter in hollow mind when he was sinking in the ground.

I can't believe this is the second last episode of the series! So unfair! 😭💔 It's not that i don't know that everything comes to an end. It's just that it should've had at least a full 3rd season. When Lillith is trying to save king, she says "stay away from my nephew" but the collector was with Belos for a while and probably saw how he treated his "nephew " which is why he was so protective

At the beginning when Lilith and Hooty try to rescue king, Lilith says “stay away from my nephew” and the Collector gets really offended at that and it’s probably because Belos called the grimwalkers his nephews and he ended up killing all of them. (I didn’t think of this myself, I got it from a different video) 👍👍
That would explain his comment to. It's possible that, thanks to Belos, he views the word "nephew" as some sort of slur or negative term. So when Lilith called King her nephew, it's possible he thought she was insulting King.
10:55 I think King's father did a sacrificial move to seal our collector in his stone tablet but it also ended up sending his soul into the in-between realm too, leaving his body to rot in the demon realm. This would explain why he couldn't use his powers to get out (as he couldn't take his body and use his powers(titan's blood) to create a portal out). This might also explain why he couldn't use the floating cubes in that realm to communicate with anyone on the outside
I have some theories. King will undergo some form of transformation in the last episode, that crack on his skull must mean SOMETHING. Tarak also has a crack on his skull like king, and he underwent a ''change'' in a way, seemingly going from a ''Titan'' to a witch. He may have some kind of titan growth spurt, since we all know that titans are MASSIVE, giving the others a chance at defeating a literal god. Theory 2 : The collectors birth and what makes them different. In the picture of the four blue collectors beckoning the smaller purple one, they have a different hood ornament thing, a star, a moon, a red star and a ringed planet. From other theories collectors are said to be born from the alignment of planets and a sun and a moon colliding into eachother, hence why there isnt that many depicted since this is a very rare event. The planets alignment may effect how the newly born collector will look, perhaps effecting the hood ornament or colors. Like the red star may mean a moon crashing into a red giant? And other planets or celesital bodies can interfere. Theory 3 : The Eclipse Queen I dont think this is just a SVTFOE reference, Collectors have some connection with eclipses, our collector taught belos the draining spell, which engaged an eclipse, and our collector is depicted as a sun and a moon, the things needed for a solar eclipse. The Eclipse queen may seem a bit farfetched, especially for where the series is at now, but she may be an off-screen antagonist or source of lore thatll be introduced after the series is over, [ perhaps through a tweet/spinoff/other ] Theory 4 : Our collector is scuffed. Our collector is seen as alot smaller then the other collectors depicted, we get a real life scale from when the owl beast is ''collected''. That was not our collector [ maybe being the moon hood ornament one since it has a glowing moon under its hood? ] in the paintings he is seen as ''different'' because of the purple hue. I think that Collectors do not mentally age like we do, growing more mature, i feel they are ''adults'' once they are created, We already know the collector is at least 400 years old, yet he maintains a childish personality. He may have been a result of something alot smaller crashing into a sun, just BARELY making a collector, giving him his childish personality.

The little Prince has a bittersweet ending. The little prince is a tell about life and death. In the end of the little prince, the little prince is bited by the snake. The snake told him he can be liberated and rejoin his rose he misses. But the rose is dead. So we can understand that the little prince accepts that he needs to die to rejoin his love one. That’s why he accepts that the snake bite him.
Here's a thing that I noticed! I think the little star platform that The Collector and King ride on to get around the Boiling Isles is a reference to Kirby who also rides on a star exactly the same way. Except Kirby's is yellow! I think thats a cool little reference :)

I am guessing that the Eclipse Queen is all of the Collector's mom/ creator. She may be related to the moon like Collector. Also, maybe the Eclipse Queen has witch magic. Maybe whenever she needed to destroy or stop the Collector's playtime, she can use it incase.

Thing about odalias dyed hair! It's confirmed that dyed hair is a sign of power and higher position on the isles, that's why Lilith did it and now presumably why amity and odalia did.

This certainly helped me understand an amazing Collector animatic I watched today, since it included a lot of his backstory from those paintings(which I hadn't looked at closely before)! I love how much detail is in all of these episodes, though I wonder what the original plan was for showing The Collector's backstory before they had to do a super short season. I noticed something in the sneak peak before the episode even can out lol. Whenever the collector was giving Odalia the wooden puppets to put them away the animation is messed up. The collectors body overlaps the puppets as they fall making it look like they fall behind him.
This might be a long shot but I noticed this when Lilith says to the collector “that’s my nephew” or something like that the collector got so defensive because he witnessed belos killing his nephews which is the other golden guards

3:40 You can see it here really well - Not particularly in S3 (actually from when Amity had blue hair) but you’ll notice, the lower part of Amity’s hair is the lighter part, whereas Odalia (sporting a similar half-up, half-down style) has the middle top section be lighter. This could be meant to symbolize them being opposites, and possible foreshadowing Amity’s arc away from Odalia’s terrible lead later in the series. Idk, just smth I noticed
something i noticed while watching the episode is that there's an animation error with the collector and king. When the collector is bringing in the puppets for odalia to bring away, he and king appear over the puppets instead of appearing behind them like they should. It was something that I saw after several times of watching it and thought it was kinda funny.
All those references are amazing and I can't wait to see the final episode. I don't want a sad ending but a happy satisfying one after all the trauma everyone has been through.

Theory 2 : The collectors birth and what makes them different.
In the picture of the four blue collectors beckoning the smaller purple one, they have a different hood ornament thing, a star, a moon, a red star and a ringed planet. From other theories collectors are said to be born from the alignment of planets and a sun and a moon colliding into eachother, hence why there isnt that many depicted since this is a very rare event. The planets alignment may effect how the newly born collector will look, perhaps effecting the hood ornament or colors. Like the red star may mean a moon crashing into a red giant? And other planets or celesital bodies can interfere.
Theory 3 : The Eclipse Queen
I dont think this is just a SVTFOE reference, Collectors have some connection with eclipses, our collector taught belos the draining spell, which engaged an eclipse, and our collector is depicted as a sun and a moon, the things needed for a solar eclipse. The Eclipse queen may seem a bit farfetched, especially for where the series is at now, but she may be an off-screen antagonist or source of lore thatll be introduced after the series is over, [ perhaps through a tweet/spinoff/other ]
Theory 4 : Our collector is scuffed.
Our collector is seen as alot smaller then the other collectors depicted, we get a real life scale from when the owl beast is ''collected''. That was not our collector [ maybe being the moon hood ornament one since it has a glowing moon under its hood? ] in the paintings he is seen as ''different'' because of the purple hue. I think that Collectors do not mentally age like we do, growing more mature, i feel they are ''adults'' once they are created, We already know the collector is at least 400 years old, yet he maintains a childish personality. He may have been a result of something alot smaller crashing into a sun, just BARELY making a collector, giving him his childish personality.
I hope The Collector has a happier ending than the Little Prince

The little Prince has a bittersweet ending. The little prince is a tell about life and death. In the end of the little prince, the little prince is bited by the snake. The snake told him he can be liberated and rejoin his rose he misses. But the rose is dead. So we can understand that the little prince accepts that he needs to die to rejoin his love one. That’s why he accepts that the snake bite him.

I think the little star platform that The Collector and King ride on to get around the Boiling Isles is a reference to Kirby who also rides on a star exactly the same way. Except Kirby's is yellow! I think thats a cool little reference :)

I am guessing that the Eclipse Queen is all of the Collector's mom/ creator. She may be related to the moon like Collector. Also, maybe the Eclipse Queen has witch magic. Maybe whenever she needed to destroy or stop the Collector's playtime, she can use it incase.

Just a little detail that Dana and her team added, and it makes me so much sadder about the show's ending
Here’s something I have actually noticed if you go back into season one of the series where king was Reading the little witch Azora book he comments on crying resurrecting someone and he calls it stupid but when Lilith actually cries on hooty it actually worked
I like the theory that the being Luz saw in the in-between is the one whose been guiding her through out the series, though it's wings looked damaged kinda like Luz's cloak was being disintegrated when she was last there.

I noticed that even though the boiling isle don’t have bagel bites,The collector still happens to know what they are, but if there is none,how would Odalia make them?
Maybe the reason why he knows about pizza bagel bites is likely because King might of told him about human food since he was told by Luz since she is the only human.
I meant to mention this back in Kings Tide but S2 E1 predicted the ending for S2 because S2 E1 was named “Separate Tides” And The Ending For S2 is called “Kings Tide” meaning they both have “Tide” at the end and Separate means that Luz is being separated from King in the last episode by The Collector ☀️⭐️🌙

The one on the left (throwing a spear) is probably a titan trapper, attacking king's dad. King is on the right there, still as a baby titan.
In king's castle we don't get to see the full image though (we only see the trapper and grown titan).
Thing about odalias dyed hair!
It's confirmed that dyed hair is a sign of power and higher position on the isles, that's why Lilith did it and now presumably why amity and odalia did.
When Hunter saved Gus after he used the memory scan spell and found out that hunter was grimwaker I think thats why gus looked so surprised
The collector's story reminds me a lot of the skull kid story from Majora's Mask. including his symbology, four giant friends and his relationship with the moon

I noticed that in season 1 episode 3, the first day, when Luz holds the puppets of her and Eda, Eda is shown with one golden eye and one gray one foreshadowing the outcome of the spell Lilith uses at the end of Young Blood Old Souls when her eye changes to gray.
In the clip where Luz is talking to Lilith when you where talking about pointing out details we can see Liliths palasman and I just feel like Liliths palasman would be named pearl
Thanks to this video I noticed that in 0:04 in the background (on the right side) is standing a woman very samilier to the one that was in hollom mind (the woman that got a sigil and fell on the ground + she had horns) so maybe she is her grandchild or something, ot the collector can bring back the dead
This certainly helped me understand an amazing Collector animatic I watched today, since it included a lot of his backstory from those paintings(which I hadn't looked at closely before)! I love how much detail is in all of these episodes, though I wonder what the original plan was for showing The Collector's backstory before they had to do a super short season. Then again, we might see some of it in the finale itself!

All good things must eventually end. It’s unfortunate that this ending is premature. So far both episodes in season 3 have made me cry because of how sad they were. I hope the finale makes me cry happy tears and not ugly ones.

I noticed something in the sneak peak before the episode even can out lol. Whenever the collector was giving Odalia the wooden puppets to put them away the animation is messed up. The collectors body overlaps the puppets as they fall making it look like they fall behind him.
This might be a long shot but I noticed this when Lilith says to the collector “that’s my nephew” or something like that the collector got so defensive because he witnessed belos killing his nephews which is the other golden guards
There was also a solid snake reference in the Boot Camp episode where owlbert bought human junk in from the portal.

3:40 You can see it here really well - Not particularly in S3 (actually from when Amity had blue hair) but you’ll notice, the lower part of Amity’s hair is the lighter part, whereas Odalia (sporting a similar half-up, half-down style) has the middle top section be lighter. This could be meant to symbolize them being opposites, and possible foreshadowing Amity’s arc away from Odalia’s terrible lead later in the series.

something i noticed while watching the episode is that there's an animation error with the collector and king. When the collector is bringing in the puppets for odalia to bring away, he and king appear over the puppets instead of appearing behind them like they should. It was something that I saw after several times of watching it and thought it was kinda funny.
All those references are amazing and I can't wait to see the final episode. I don't want a sad ending but a happy satisfying one after all the trauma everyone has been through.

You mentioned "Edge of the world", I recently rewatched the episode and noticed that the Titantrappers all ahve the same mark on their foreheads as the puppets do.
