    Love the white monochromatic kitchen.Tile backsplash is nice with the sheen agaist the matte cabinets. A sink on the island was an excellent choice too! Great job!

    It all goes together so well, the floors and the tall cabinets, I like the clean lines and how you didn’t trim out above the cabinets. Simpler but goes better with the space and the sink belongs where it is, hate they made the kitchen worker so isolated in design before. This look just makes the flow of conversation so much easier and Electrolux is the best they invented so much and are such a iconic brand. So high end. Looks like you spent way more than that. I built my cabinets from a box and I paid more so high five on that price! I’ll have to check them out next time I need cabinets!

    Cabinets that go to the ceiling, BRILLIANT. Also, it's a great way to find out if your walls and ceiling are square and plumb. Big sink and not a double-sink or split sink; BRILLIANT. If you can't get a turkey roasting pan in the sink, then you have the wrong sink and configuration. For a rental unit, this is a homerun in so many ways.

    • @danrockwell1883
      @danrockwell1883  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      They were not square and plumb haha we had to make many adjustments for the uneven ceiling like lower some cabinets cause they were hitting the ceiling but now you can’t tell

    Great job A couple of things I would have done differently would be to put a range hood above the stove and on the backsplash to use a gray-tone material for you to highlight 👏

    • @danrockwell1883
      @danrockwell1883  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yeah I like the backsplash but I don't love it, I should have chose a different one. For the range, I'm still planning on putting in a low profile range under the cabinets but being my kitchen and well house is so small, storage is a key propionate so I don't regret that even though I do think it would look aesthetically better.

    I'm so glad I found this video! I live in Chandler and hope to use some of the same resources you did. My husband and I are avid DIYers (he worked apartment maintenance for several years and knows quite a bit) but feel somewhat out of our depth with a kitchen reno. The guy who lived here before us did a pretty obvious DIY job and it looks pretty janky (some crooked drawers, cabinet boxes not level with the ones next to them, etc.). We were highly considering paying the thousands we were quoted by the pros, but your video gives us hope that we *can* reno the kitchen on a budget. Thanks!

      @@danrockwell1883 Thanks! House looks great. Are you going to turn this one into a rental then renovate another one?

    You missed the mark. There's no vent hood under stove. I personally hate greasy odor during & after cooking. I know any renovation is very expensive. I completely get it. Gotta cut the cost. But in total the renovation looks good. 👍😊

    What tricep exercises do you do

    • @danrockwell1883
      @danrockwell1883  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I rarely train them because they over power my shoulders but skull crushers and one arm overhead tricep extensions are my favorites for them

    That’s really good for a full kitchen upgrade and it can a whole lot cheaper if you would have did more things urself
