They really tried to get it in theatres but AMC and Regal folded their arms and closed the door on Marty out of spite. Really a shame they acted so childish but the picture itself is true cinematic art worthy of recognition.

I have seen so many great movies, this year; Joker, The Lighthouse, Parasite, Jojo Rabbit, Once Upon a Time In Hollywood, Midsommar, and now The Irishman. If there’s one movie out of all the films I mentioned that deserves to win Best Picture at the Oscars, it’s The Irishman! Thank you, Martin Scorsese for creative such a powerful work of art, and for inspiring so many movie buffs like me to become filmmakers.
Osman Yousif don’t get me wrong they are both great actors but Pacino has been robbed multiple times at the Oscars, he’s been nominated like 8 times and has only one, and on top of that he was literally Michael Corleone and he didn’t get any Oscar’s for it, I ve read that he gave the best performance in the Irishman and also he is like 80 years old this is going to be probably his last good film and performance

I love watching Scorsese interviews. His film literacy is amazing. Right at the beginning he drops the films of actor “Jean Gabin” looks like he made some pretty awesome flicks. Who do you think has the most film knowledge between Scorsese and Tarantino? Tough one. PTA is not far behind although Scorsese and Tarantino are at the very top I think.
