My family used sulfur soap on my dad when he became old and disabled and basically stayed at home and struggled with body odor and we had to take care of him around the clock until he passed away. Maybe this could help someone else who's going through the same thing.
i m currently 18 yrs old and i hve deep blackheads all over my nose from past 7 years and they are soo deep that nothing worked!! charcoal facewash , etc (not even salacylic acid) i tried this for over 6months...while i was using ,,i had 10% difference (not much ) also now when i stopped using it ,,,my blackheads are again back!

Get all your blackheads extracted professionally and start on a salicylic acid cleanser to prevent them coming back. The results are worth it and will prevent your pores getting severely dilated when you're older.

I like the prosacea brand of sulfur gel. It doesn’t stink at all. You will get a very quick sulfur scent for about 1 second and then that’s all. I have very sensitive skin and type 1 Rosacea and it works well for me without any irritation. I would think soap itself is more stripping than adding a gel to your routine. I’m going to avoid the soap and stick to the gel for $9.99
Sulfur stinks up everything. It worked well for me for acne issues but holy hell all of my laundry, towels, and pillows ended up smelling like sulfur and it took tons of washes to get the smell out

No, it would not. I am not a dermatologist, but I am an esthetician. A kerolytic targets dead skin cells. Skin tags are not made of dead skin cells. They have a blood supply. They should only be removed by a dermatologist. The derm will either use liquid nitrogen to freeze it off, a cautery, or just deaden the area and snip it off.
if u wanna get rid of skin tags do what i did. get some apple cider vinegar, organic w/ the mother and put it on a cotton ball or pad overnight w/ a bandaid. i did this for 2 nights and it burned off the skin tag! no derm needed and its cheap.
Sulfur soap is great as a body soap too, if (like me) your extremities get shredded sometimes. Just remember to lather and leave it on for a bit before you shower so it can do its job.
The Inkey List sulfur based blemish cream (can't remember the name but just search those terms) is legit THE ONLY THING ive found that i can put on before bed and see an improvement in the morning when it comes to my acne and spots. Im excited to try other forms of it

Unfortunately the sulfur face wash didn’t really help w/ my acne… even when left on for 5 minutes. For me the leave on mask/cream is much more effective for my skin/my acne

I found this out when I switched from the Noble Formula to some cheaper brands' Zinc/Sulfur soaps, and I was getting body acne in places that I've never gotten as much as a tiny pimple before. I like the AcneFree 3.5% wash-off Sulfur/Clay mask, and Geologie has a good spot treatment w/ 5% Sulfur, 3% AzA, & 2% SA.
Sulfur cream works on cystic inflamed acne. It doesn’t work on closed comedones like the ones I have. As for the soap I don’t use bar soaps cause they break me out. They tend to have wax inside.
I use a sulfur treatment formulated by a skin company I used once, AcneMD, whenever I get a little pimple or I feel a breakout might be coming up , I use the lotion in that area and it works every time , dries up reactionary spots that appear sometimes around my mouth area overnight! Its a little tube & i use barely a little touch as a spot treatment so its lasted a year already!

It depends on what kind of eczema issues you're having. Sometimes eczema is directly proportionate to food allergies and eliminating all the items you're allergic to makes it go away. I had a friend that had bad eczema on her hands only and they reached a point of looking like burgers, it turned out she had contact allergy to cleaning products. My kid got eczema at age 5 and (asthma and respiratory allergies) but it only ever turned to slightly inflamed, she never had infections or bleedings and the dermatologist told me to shower with neutral products and hydrate all the areas 2 times a day and always wrins well after swiming in the pool becouse chlorine dries too much the skin. It improved and she completely grew out of it in a few years. One thing you should never use on your eczema are steroid creams, unless dermatologist prescribes it for short periods of time. It turnes out that prolonged use of steroid creams on eczema makes it heal and go away beautifully, but repeatedly use of it weakens the skin barrier that already is weak otherwise you wouldn't be having egzema in that precise spot, and it leave you eczema prone for the rest of your life.

I use a cream with benzoyl peroxide in it and my acne is gone, just remember to moisturize your skin because it dries your skin alot

I would recommend doing a test area first as having very sensitive skin, it can make the situation worse especially if you are using other products.

Yes, it has been around for a while. I used this soap sixty years ago! "Fostex" was the brand we had.
I used sulfur soap in my teens and yes it helped me with the acne but I had to stop using it because my skin felt dry and started to flake.

You won't be able to get rid of hormonal acne without medication. I'm on Spironolactone and it's helped a lot.
