- Marines with 1st Marine Division participate in Urban Leaders Course (ULC) at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California, June 3rd-21st, 2019. ULC provides Marines an opportunity to improve their leadership skills and abilities as small unit leaders in an urban combat environment.

Done this course In 29 palms before Afghan in 2009. In the August heat of eastern California. Desert California. A real break off and definitely prepared me for getting deployed to Marjah

The most incredible part of this video is when the Marine at 1:40 fires that many blanks in a row without a jam. 10/10 BFA use right there boys.
With even Third World countries urbanizing rapidly, such a course is very suitable, indeed.

And I have a question, can i get a mos like aviation mechanic or something, and be an 0311??
You can only hold one MOS with a couple exceptions. Those exceptions being BMOS' such as Recruiter or Drill Instructor. So no, you can't have both.
Don’t do it
Dont let someone influence your decision. At the end of the day, it really is up to you whether or not you want to sacrifice 4 years to get what you really want.

Do what you want to do. Talk to a parent/a close relative, a former military person, and your recruiter. The more people you talk to the more you will be confused. But what ever you choose you are stuck with it for 4 years, or whatever your contracts for.

College Degree and do OCS or PLC
Trust me, go to college, OCS and be an Officer. The pays better but you will have more responsibility.
Hydra Airsoft Any college with Naval ROTC, then go Marine Option. apply for a Marine ROTC Scholarship and try to compete for it.

Are US Army Infantry soldiers allowed to be guest students here?
Infantry has mout stuff like this everywhere. But Op 4 or the war games is usually in irwin for us bro. Or was like 10 yrs ago.
There was a video a while back where a Ranger-Qualified Soldier from the 25th Infantry Division went to the Marine's Squad Leader Course at Kahuku Training Area with 3rd Marines...not sure about this course though. MOUT is too vital and specific of a skill to any infantry to send a conventional Army grunt to a USMC MOUT course when his own Army infantry unit has one right down the road. They wouldn't have to pay money and fight with the Marine Corps to get a slot in the course either. As far as Army SOF, they probably have better MOUT facilities than conventional Army or Marine units anyway lol. It's kind of the same concept with jungle and mountain warfare.
Something like Squad Leader, Platoon Sergeant, or Fire Team Leader Courses are important to educate grunts on the various and vital tactical leadership positions within an infantry unit. The Army would send their Soldiers their from time to time to do cross training with the USMC, since they do not have their own Fire Team/ Squad/ Platoon Sergeant infantry training courses formalized.

I hate how everyone thinks they are infantry (just laugh). Infantry get their own ships? Just listening to some of this I heard awhile back talking about it. Does the USMC not just base you out in Gulf or water and have you guys rotate out on the ships with helicopters or aircrafts like Osprey? Thats cool.

No, I remember the K1 and K2 MOUT towns were made of conex boxes/freight containers. Then 25 Area Combat Town was old school and concrete. This place in the video was Range number something. I don't remember. It's Pendleton though not 29 Stumps.

Rad Gaming yes, but only for a short portion of their career. If you want to be more frontlines, go enlisted. Once you are no longer a company grade officer, it’s probable that you may not be in the front lines.
