I've had my s20 FE since February 21 and no separation with the plastic back, one Crack on the screen that's my fault but hardly noticeable. Although sometimes clunky it still works great for day to day heavy usage.
I got this phone in July 2021 off eBay, so coming up on 3 years of having it. still snappy enough and all, battery is good if you are conscious about when you charge it, for how long, and limit to 85% in settings. I installed accubattery when I got the phone so it's had all this time to gather statistics. Estimates my capacity still around 82 or 83% design capacity, and it was somewhere in the low 90% range when I got it. I'd say for basic use, and with how cheap it is now, definitely worth it used to get through a couple years. Still gonna hang onto mine into 2025 I think, no reason for me to switch yet and that's a huge pain in the ass to move data. Also it's getting harder to find good phones with SD slots still... I've accepted no headphone jack but I'm adamant about getting an SD slot on a phone.

I have ordered a 2nd Samsung S20FE 5G recently, but in red and brand new. Overall, excellent phone is my opinion on this phone.
@@thegrimreaper7709 I shopped around on Amazon and got a 30 watt wireless charger for my Samsung S20FE. It still takes quite a bit of time to charge with the round wireless charger, but I use that mostly overnight while I am sleeping and it's fully charged by the time I get up the next morning. So it works for me. However, during the daytime or while I am up and about and the phone may need charging, I just charge it by the USB-C cord and plug that into a decent phone USB port and it charges faster. I'd look on Amazon, Ebay or similar online shopping site for a good wireless charger. I got my S20 FE in June 2021. 2 years, 7 months later and it is still great I get around 4-6 hours of SOT during my daily usage even after 2 years. I am not that bothered about software updates and it still receives security updates.
i think its one of the most well-rounded phones of all time. not the best by any means. but well-rounded. i still have mine and haven't thought of buying another. I had this phone in the shop for a year(2022) and forgot about it in wallmart phone repair and remembered one day while leaving walmart., I picked it back up paid the guy and have been using it over since. before then I was using Google phones with overheating issues.
I got mine for 1½ years of use. The performance is still smoothly good as new whether for light gaming or browsing social media YT, internet streaming but i still hate the battery life. Battery life is something i really hate about this phone, devoid of any LTPO screen as i have to switch manually between power saving and normal mode i just could using this phone for 5+ hours with SOT and 120hz refresh rate. In term of video and camera capability and quality for me the phone is just mediocre but still usable. But with SD card slot , there are no more thing that i want to complained about.
Ive had my 256Gb snapdragon 8gb RAM S20FE since 2021. No heating, battery or quality issues whatsoever. It performs like a new phone. Im only upgrading because it's now run out of Android support. It has otherwise been absolutely perfect. Id say it's obviously not the best phone for taking photos, but still okay for normal users. I can see this phone lasting another two years easily before it's really time to upgrade.
I've been using it since December 2020. It is the best experience I've had with a smartphone and intend to go with a Samsung again when I eventually upgrade which is also a first for me. The only reason I'm even thinking of upgrading is because it will stop getting security updates at the end of the year. Otherwise, it still does everything I need it to do well enough. I was a bit annoyed by the proprietary apps Samsung is trying to push on you at first, but I got used to it. There's a lot of neat features tucked away in the UI which make stock android seem a bit bare bones in comparison. It's like the swiss army knife I like to carry around - most tools I don't use veryday, but I sure am glad they're there when I need them. Bugs have popped up every now and again, but Samsung was reasonably quick about fixing them with updates. Having both an ultrawide and a telephoto is great for versatility. I've owned metal phones in the past, but not glass ones. From my perspective the plastic back is fine. The main advantage is that it makes an already big and heavy phone a little bit lighter. Yeah, overall I've enjoyed this device a lot and I'll be keeping it for another 6 months at least... but buying a 4-year-old phone which is about to stop receiving updates is probably not very wise.
Best thing I liked about it is samsung dex. Used as pc replacement for more than a year. Bought from Amazon refurbished as a cheap S series option and it has worked really well.
Still using my 22fe, I've started to receive a message about the battery having issues, the phone dies quickly with little use, but even when i first bought it, the device was overheating a lot and during gaming it became too hot to even touch, i wouldn't recommend this device if you're a heavy user, definitely not for anyone who want to game, ..i gave it to my wife a while ago and used an s22 and last week we switched phones, and i don't know if i was spoiled by the s22 speed or the fe has really slowed down, but it's really annoying to use after having used the s22.
I downgraded from S23 FE to S20 FE because of this! S23 FE battery heats up and battery drains really fast. It's frustrating. When I got the S20 FE, I got the same SoT lmao but considering it's an old phone, battery can still keep up with S23 FE. Never been happier when I switched to S20 FE
Have mine (5g, snapdragon), since March 21, the back plastic started to separate from the phones body, the battery isn't good enough and drowning relatively fast, and the most annoying thing about the s20 fe is the notorious SIM card problem, the phone doesn't detect the sim and then you basically can not use it until its over (sometimes hour), thats the reasons that I want to replace it by now
Got an S20 FE and my only gripe is the lack of optimisation for social media apps. iPhones let you take full advantage of their Ultrawide, telephotos in tiktok, Instagram, Facebook, and Samsung fail to follow suit. I know they have a far wider range of devices they would have to optimise for but things like this are the reason apple will always be one step ahead. No matter how many improvements they make, they COULD make their devices as consistent as Apple's but choose not to. Next phone is definitely going to be iPhone and I'll probably stick that way until they sort it out.
so your only complaint is the camera cut-out function that you can set it up manually if OneUI detects them wrong, lmao okay I'm curious to know whats the consistency Apple have made for Iphone beside that 20% baked Dynamic Island that barely supports any notification and the "revolution" LCD-ISP 60hz screen from years to years
If you flash twrp, and then install UN1CA rom, it's oneUI 6.2 and it is up to date, they even bring out updates, so you don't miss out on anything samsung offered on this phone AND you are up to date security wise, and since this rom is based on oneUI, banking apps work, which is pretty nice! Had this phone for free (cousin bought a new device and gave me his old one) and man, this is an amazing device!
