What about Toriyama's son? The one who was involved during production of Superhero. If I'm not mistaken, it was stated once that he may take control of DB brand after his father's death.
And so, we may have Toriyama's son as the new writer for DB and Toyotaro as illustrator. I doubt that Toyble will take control over the whole thing alone, since he was more of a worker than a creator.
Toyoutaro wrote most of the Moro and Granolah arcs also. He isn’t just an illustrator
@@lelouch8470 he did, but it was under Toriyama's regulations. These two arcs were quite well written and it shows, but all I'm saying is that Toyotaro still needs someone to keep his ideas in-universe, you know?

No toriyama son sasuke is not a writer, when they said he is gonna take control of the franchise they meant that he will be overseeing and aproving or disaproving products, characters, movies and use of the characters in other mediums, and like you said toyotaro is just a shueisha worker so probably if dragon ball continues they will call a new writer or make the manga even more irrelevant and focus on the last movies and end the franchise for good.
Doesn’t matter. Nothing going forward will ever be cannon.

I think dragon ball will still continue even without Akira but I understand it won’t feel the same without him, but we still have the manga, dragon ball daima, dragon ball super’s anime return hopefully, and of course, the video games as well. I suppose we’ll just have to wait and see.

The granola arc was the only arc I didn't like broly and moro was good the superhero movie was boring but the stuff that came after the cell Max fight was good

He made the Black Goku saga amazing. And his writings in fan manga DbAF was always one of my favorite.

@@starsaber9631Or rather all notes of what is to happen up to the end of Z being expanded and what can lead up to the next generation slate that can be left to Toyotaro whom now besides grieving could be working on his writing likely with a lot of help from another manga creator to help the writing so when Super returns in Manga form that the story will be as fluid as possible.

To be honest I don't know what will happen in the next 10 years. I think it will be unbalanced at first but I think Toyotaro will come around and finish what his master started. It was unfortunate that Akira Toryama passed both for many fans and the series as a hole he will absolutely be missed.

Love toriyama but it was time. He finally let go. From forgetting transformations he created to forgetting entire characters he created to not letting anyone outside of goku have any real shine and main villain kills outside of gohan. Dragon ball was a gateway to anime. However compared to modern anime super is a joke. You always know that it’s up to goku and only goku. And how can the rest of the cast assist goku for him to have just the right amount of plot armor to win. Love you toriyama and for creating one of the best concepts ever. However I believe the franchise can finally expand and grow
I find it funny that you claimed it was just Goku and Gohan when in the Future Trunks Saga it was Trunks and Zeno who took out Zamasu. He didn't even kill Present Zamasu, that was Beerus. You then had Gogeta be the one to handle Broly.
And where in history are you getting the idea that other characters shine without Toriyama? Did you forget GT where Goku did almost everything and even Vegeta was sideline?

Our next upcoming arc is definitely either our last or penultimate dragon ball arc, as multiple sources have already stated the super hero arc comes right before the original z ending and toriyama has also said he wants to align the z and super endings

Akira Toriyama's death was sudden and an extreme hit to all Dragon Ball fans including myself. The only way I can see it continuing is with Toyotaro, as he is basically Toriyama's heir to continue Dragon Ball. He has some extremely huge shoes to fill, so hopefully he can do it.

When Bulma's voice actress passed they pretty much confirmed that they have a long term plan. This is much different from how anime usually goes. I've seen popular series have their next season canceled because of a voice actor or creator death. Even series like Haruhi will never get another season because the voice actress of Haruhi was involved in drama.

daima will come out later this year, however super will not come back for a while
I think it might take longer than 4 months for Super. It all depends on if Toriyama had the story outlined or in his head. It might take a year or so. I hope the studio know enough of Toriyama vision to keep it going.
I’m sure he had a lot planned.. notes of his vision 5,10, maybe even 15 years down the road. probably not everything but I feel like he had a lot of interesting plots and storylines that he was wanting to bring to life. we’ll just have to wait and see.. it definitely won’t be the same but I’m still excited & hopeful regardless.

They could do that, but it's just kinda strange on a new force taking their place. The GINYU force were really fun and silly and I hope they can do that with the new force.

As huge as DBZ was, current Dragon Ball is far more massive now. It will continue, the anime will continue now that we have 3 series to pull from. My personal feeling on the ending is there will be another time split, just like with Trunk's timeline. It's the ONLY way any of the events of Super make sense. Something will happen and the OG timeline will continue with the end of Z and a new timeline will go forward with what we know as Super. This lets the OG Z end like it would have and permits continuing the story with everything that has happened up till now.

Toyotaro said he's done after The Black Frieza arc. Which is understandable... him and Toriyama probably cooked up some heat. I think he doesn't want to make Dragon Ball without Toriyama. I would be okay and content if it ended there too. It'll be sad to let go of Dragon Ball again but good things must come to an end. I don't want the series that I love to be dragged on and milked like Marvel. It's gonna be okay. It's up to us as the fans to keep this legendary series alive.

What's the same, are the characters characteristics that make themselves the characters that we all know and remember from their reputation, it should be a memory of them and for us to remember how they are still seen or represented always even if they do continue the story especially but don't continue it so much that the story comes out less desirable or totally different or unfathomably far off than ever before, it should always in a way tell the same but better or more detailed story that ends up with stronger viewers everytime in the end. Or instead of rebooting the anime or manga, try to retelling the story in a better live action adaptation of one can be achieved, but way better movie or series quality than Dragonball Evolution was, no unsatisfying reboots or slacking retellings. Spare no expense or save your money til when we all are confident in how we are wanting to see it done. All research on releasing to the world the best we can offer in regards to starting from A beginning of storyline to Z, end of Dragonball Z, which should be how we get to the end of the Buu Saga. Unless someone has a better idea that makes even more sense and helps it tie altogether seamlessly. God bless all future Dragonball, Dragonball Z, and Dragonball Super, And GT projects, let your favor be goodness be a part of it always, O'Lord My God.

My idea was that they‘d make a big Movie maybe 2 or 3 hours with GOOD ANIMATION. And Represantation of the characters getting older. Sure goku and vegeta don’t really age that much but still, Goten, trunks, pan, they should all be shown that they CAN age, the directors were just afraid to do it because then they‘d have to write out more things for their character. There shouldn’t be introduced any new forms or characters and while I don’t know about the big threat or story along the movie, freeza should NOT be there, or cell, or evil buu. However it should be lighthearted and the nature should be remarkable, with good comedy like it used to. Goku works together with everyone to save the world for the last time. He doesn’t die. Neither does vegeta. But instead chichi,Yamcha, bulma, all the older characters die at the end. It shouldn’t be sad, just a reminder that the adventures, and the time they had came to an end. Goku and vegeta obviously should show emotion to that, but they learn that this would happen and that they will still be here to raise their hybrid children and hold their souls in their hearts. Similliar to the end of GT. Maybe throughout the movie, as a side story, goku and vegeta are worried about the health of bulma, chichi, and their friends, and try to wish from Shenron to make them young again, but they say it’s okay. And they both learn that it’s okay to say goodbye, and then they are some loving moments between chichi and goku and bulma and vegeta. At the end of the movie, Goten as an adult should be shown having a daughter/son and flying with them on the nimbus like goku did with Gohan. The narrator tells that our story ends here, just like how he said that our story begins here at the first minutes of dragonball classic. A reference to make fans cry. And of course, every VA will say at the end „Thank you, Akira Toriyama!“ and this is the end. Dragonball should end, when the creator dies and not be pulled in crappy shows and movies to make money. R.I.P

I'm gonna be real here so please bare with me. I have been saying that they need to end this series before we lose the people that made it great. I'm 29. I started this show in 1999 during the Saiyan saga. I remember in the US, when Z ended with the Buu saga, I thought it might be over for us for good as that saga ended in Japan like a decade earlier. There was a long time in between the end of Z and Super and fans my age know this. We need this show to be ended properly as long time forever fans before they completely ruin it. They opened up the multiverse and gave Gohan a random ass transformation. I am sad that while he was getting older and more senile that he expanded more with no end in sight. It is very wild to me that I have basically waited my entire life to know what happens at the end of the show and I don't think we'll ever see it.
