I always love to hear Lamont speak and have greatly enjoyed you Joe forcing him into the spotlight (Kicking and Screaming I am sure) Kenny is an amazing resource as well and I would have never thought to apply his vast knowledge to the canine breeding process. Thank you all for introducing an alternative perspective in order to develop a better understanding.
Thank you. You totally dissected my agenda.
For a relatively new channel u have some fuckin amazing content packed with information, as u mentioned mentors make all the difference the knowledge of javon and Kenny is a education
@KnpvCorso I know some real life quiet Giants I hadn't brought forth yet. Next year will be even better. I thank you for your support.
I breed dogs and chickens I was in kenny’s breeders academy I got a lot of benefit from it
I bet. The Breeders academy is awesome
Thank you Joe for sharing such valuable info. and properly representing the Cane Corso breed. I breed South African Boerboel and have gleaned so much from youm sharing. Have a blessed day.
Roman I thank you so much for your kind words. That's some motivation to keep on working 💪
I have to clap my hands for these videos you've been posting, a blessing of knowledge that is being shared with such great guest!
I thank you much
Kenny is full of knowledge soak it up and put it to use on your yard
As I continue to study and gather info, I can say I believe Kenny's way is the right way.
Excellent discussion, once again you guys knock it out of the park!!!
Thanks again!
@@NWACaneCorsos you're welcome!
Another great episode brother.
Thanks bro
Love your podcast ❤
Thank you so much. Welcome to the family
Breeding is an art as well!
Enjoying the content !!!👍🏾
Thanks we will keep it coming.
Fascinating content, I could listen to this for hours, 2 great guests and the host ain't bad either let's the guests do there thing, very well steered conversation
The Asil was introduced into game fowl to bring power . The problem you need a 1/4 of that blood and have to go back to pure . In my opinion is like patching up and doesn’t fix the problem. Is like this bandogs breeders they are patching up not making the dogs better. Nice to hear you guys talking about the importance of purity . I’m agree with Mr. Troiano . Mixing is for ignorant and bad breeders with poor knowledge in breeding practices. Nice topic 🎉
Thanks
Very informative video for whatever breed or species of breeding 🫡
I tried that egg shell stuff for a little bit and noticed my dogs weren’t eating it. I took that as a sign and stopped doing that
Nice episode perfect blend of experience and knowledge
Glad you enjoyed it
Appreciate your time and information
Thank you for tuning in.
Love the videos
Thank you . Welcome to the family
Thank you happy I can help support what you do
Love from Toronto
Just found the channel!
How do you get the information about the pedigree (the flaws, etc.) is there something documented about the health issues?
You can ask the breeder for pedigrees. Once you get the number of the dog you can check OFA and diffrent things. If testing has been done you breeder would have that. Welcome to the family
How many dogs do you need to be a successful breeder?
Great video
I'd love specific corso training stuff, I'm currently interested building the dog emotion in specific behaviours and ways to build the emotions
I have Don P Mega coming back for a Q and A on training. People submitted questions he will come back and answer. If you have any questions I can pass it on.
The white of the teeth!! Man I like that 😂 facts
That was a good one
Can you elaborate on line breeding ? What is it really?
Line breeding simply means breeding the Dad to the daughter, to the great granddaughter, and possibly great, great grand daughter. The exact terminologies are not going to be heard from no one other than Kenny and one other dog channel.
You need to interview Michael Morales and Boston lucky Dawg!!!
You got to send me links on those people
@@al-bone1396 they coming bro
Can we get a quick little background from you gentlemen?
Lamont is a big breeder of the Cane Corso he owns Lapotenza Cane Corso and the other gentleman is Kenny he breeds fowl.
@@vicentemoore3281appreciate it! I saw the podcast with Kenny, his knowledge is deep. I wasn’t familiar with Lamont. I’m from Texas also.
And we don’t have genetic diversity in our fixed dog breeds. At least not in my breed.
Breeding for color is the worse mistake you can make as a breeder
@h2oratt2000 what breed do you have?
Lee Robinson of American sentinel canine is a great place to visit for genetics information taught by a geneticist
Yes I've spoken to him he is very knowledgeable man thats for sure . I prefer the breeders academy strategy for my program. I don't want to cross new dogs in the lines I'm working on
@@NWACaneCorsos sorry wasn't directed at u personally, wasn't trying to interfere in ur business it was more of a note for the fans on the channel interested in learning more about breeding
@@KyleTheCorsoKid I didn't take it that way.
I here a ton of talk on esthetics, but nothing based on performance/working abilities. Looks and color are the easiest things to breed. I think you need to find a long time successful gamedog Apbt breeders input on your channel. I've seen Richard G. Speak about his opinion, but his breeding was not long term.
There was a point in the video were "progeny" came up. You may have missed it. We have had Richard on the show a few times already
@NWACaneCorsos I'll go back through, and try to find that part
@davidbencomo2512 it was short but it was me questioning lsmont on why he kept putting his premier stud in with hogs
@@NWACaneCorsos ok ty, about what is the time?
@@davidbencomo2512 it's somewhere late in the show.
I hate and I mean hate all this "BREEDING" Talk which has clearly become such a hot topic these days. Most folks have never even spent time with their chosen breed of animals before attempting to put together a program. People these days are so eager to breed that the simple idea of keeping the animals for a period of years before trying to figure out what you want from or want to better in the animal is a foreign concept. You shouldn't be breeding any animals after only having them for 2 years being a first time owner.
Kennys right about the birds bro you ain't starting with anything pure all dog breeds are mongrels.. and hes right about the birds .. and it all comes back to what you doing with the dog in the first place.. i believe the gamedog term is overrated.. because they're a multitude of different breeds compounded lineage and multiple different genetics .. in my opinion theres no such thing called a pure breed but there is such thing as pure blood .. cof here New Zealand we have the New Zealand Huntaway legit all rounder .. hunter guard dog pet family dog working herding cattle dog.. in your gonna go into gameness well it it has that to... Cleaver breeding.. creating a purpose bred animal .. tge saim with cows goats we use the saim methods.. there is limit to breeding... And thats size .. if someone here can breed i.e create a dog bigger than wagu bull .. than you one can talk and boast all they want.. but.. no Dogs is really better than another... ive taken old dogs from rescue shelters labrador cross mutts taken them out hunting pigs and i can tell you they better than most pits .. . It all comes back to the persons knowledge and breeding method and how they train it. development.
If stop talking about chickens ffs I'm listening to learn about dogs!
That's an interesting comment. I talked with one of the top dog breeders in the country the other day. We talked about this particular video you're upset with. He told me the art and science of breeding done correctly works for ALL animals.
SALUTE 🫡 🔥VIDEO EXCELLENT!! THANKS FOR THOSE JEWELS! SALUTE AND STAY ROYAL!👑💯💪🏿💜🙏🏿🫡
