I normally try out the free presets offered in these Line 6 posts, and these are the most usable presets that I have ever downloaded. All of them are killer. Thank you Jack!

I am new to hx and the thing is why did he used 2 separate lines in the last preset..
@@lyonleo86 Each line uses different DSP power. If you tried to use a lot of blocks on one line you would run out of DSP. The first thing I do when I create a new preset is to send the top line down to the bottom line. They call it "Output Path 2" Basically sends the top line to the second line in series.
That first tone (and playing) is fantastic!

I never cease of get amazed by how beautiful you play jack , i get inspired each time i hear you play to being honest lately i have been trying to record me playing when i have some ideas so if i forget them i can listen them again and allows me to incorporate new not only phrasing but technique and my own taste per say but i can only get that kind of inspiration listening to different musics and yours is one of them.
Also i find while learning songs along the way i can learn different ways to see the fretboard and expresing and its crazinly helpful.

Nice to see you doing some Line 6 Helix vids for a change. I’ve been a Helix user for a little over a year, and I still love the whole vibe of the community as well as the awesome product and team behind it. Would love to see some more Helix vids from you and your approach to Tone creation on it. Also, what makes you decide between using one path as opposed to two paths in stereo? Can’t wait to check out your presets on a piece of gear I own for a change 😅

Great stuff jack and always a joy to listen to you play. Is great that you have done a Helix video as nowadays Neural and Fractal get most of the attention. I use the HX Stomp all the time and the regular updates have kept it right there with them in many ways especially considering the big price difference. Love all the tones you have pulled up and look forward to trying them sometime. Thanks for the informative video Jack and all the best from sunny Leicestershire..lol

The Blackback 30 is actually a Park cab with G12H30's! One of my favorite cabs in the Helix.

You know it is NOT just about the Helix settings. The type of pickups and switching mean a lot. I do not know the type of bridge humbucker on that guitar. I do not know if the neck pickup is a straight single coil or a stacked with split capability. Don't you think that those things impact the Helix? I sure do! P.S. thanks for the presets Jack!

I'll never understand why people mindlessly shit on the Helix. What a fantastic piece of gear. I absolutely love mine. I suppose maybe it's the long-term negative stigma associated with the Line 6 brand or that it's not the highest dollar thing on the market. Regardless, mine won't be going anywhere anytime soon and I see absolutely no reason to go anywhere else.

Hey man! Thanks so much! I actually use the Quad Cortex as my audio interface these days, but I also have a Focusrite Scarlett and Presonus!

The Scarlett doesn’t seem to respond as well when I turn down the volume knob, and seeing you play around with dynamics in the video had me curious.

I tried these tones and no matter what I did I never managed to make them sound like him (not even close). maybe my guitar is the issue here. I got ibanez prestige with the HSH system (PAF36 anniversary neck, true velvet mid, Air Norton bridge ) Mayber can someone shed some light on what is going on. Thank you in advance!
