In my previous video, i updated my Line 6 Helix to the latest 3.50 Firmware update and I was completely blown away! However, it turns out I didn't factory reset and didn't get the new 3.50 Factory Presets for guitar and bass. Here is my first reactions to the new stock presets on the Helix & HX stomp!

Thanks Jemmuel, a great overview of the Helix presets! Just what I needed! I should have my new Helix today sometime, and hope to use presets Sunday for worship. After that, I'll start 'tweaking' the patches. Blessings!
Dang I see you get excited and it makes me excited to go back and try some of the amps with new cabs. I had switched from going front of house to just going straight into my amp with fx. 🤔

@@borgan1964 the neck pickup is a mick Brierley Broadcaster custom 50s pickup and the bridge is a tonerider hot classic

To be honest, before 3.50 I never achieved a tone that truly satisfied me using the JC 120. Now I can finally say that the JC 120 sounds realistic

I've seen of few of these videos on the new factory presets and they are much better. One gentleman was also checking the snap shots on the new presets as well. Can someone also check the assignments for the elements, I.E the distortion, modulation and reverb. For example, at 3:44 the US Double Norm , what is the volume block. Is that fixed or assigned to an expression pedal? Thank you. I really enjoyed your video.

The bridge is a tonerider hot classic and the neck is a Mick Brierley 50s broadcaster pickup
As a performer only, will the Helix Lt allow stereo routing without cab block to a pair of Line 6 Powercab Plus while routing stereo with cab block to front of house?
Does the HX Stomp have less new presets than the bigger Helix? I did the factory restore and I only have some of the new ones...

Why is there such massive disparity in the volume on the factory presets? Anything clean is so low its nearly unusable without putting a boost on it and so many of the OD presets are just instantly blasting. It makes no sense.
Are there any 3rd party people/companies specializing in selling their presets? :)
I see Cakewalk is a preset in Helix. How do I set that up? Thanks.
Coudnt get it to work for me!....sound output would randomly stop when switching pedals.... had to go back to 3.15 and things work fine
Just out of curiosity do you have the expression pedal saved to “global” in the global settings. For some reason after the update it resets global settings so when switching presets or snapshots the volume pedal would default to whatever the preset or snapshot was set to. After resetting all my global settings I’ve had no issues and this thing is sounding better than it ever has.
@@wcart0322 No, honestly, I havent tried that, and after the problems I experienced after the update, I must say Im a bit hesitant to to try it, but i will give it a try, Im just worried that things might get worse and being so far from an actual service center frankly Im kinda partial to the if its not broken dont fix it way of thinking,,, even though I keep seeing new vids on how awesome 3.5 it is....
@@luchorios5663 Gotcha, we’ll I wouldn’t want to steer you towards something that might just end up frustrating but I know at least for me when I switched the expression pedal to global that fixed it. And yes the update is definitely amazing. Either way good luck to you. 👍
Do you have a treble bleed cirkit in your strat?

Really? I didn't hear any tone loss when you turned the volume down to see whether the amp cleans up or not.

Check the videos from the other guys in the description. You have to factory reset the helix

I tried, alas without success. Uninstallation and reinstallation of the HX edit. Always the same presets with in 1st: 01A FX: stereo Swirl etc..
However I have the new amps/effects etc... I messed up the 3.50 update the first time concerning the preset and setlist options
It's frankly complicated.. I just want to try the Factory 1 setlist.. Why is it so complicated, when we could just load this setlist, like I do with my own setlists..

Please help!!! Do some factory presets have snapshots built in? My Helix WILL NOT access them. (If there is not Snapshots in any Preset than im an idiot who has been watching deep fakes on youtube & apologize in advance Lol..)
