Definitely not for everyone, but ive wanted something like this for some time. Just be aware that there is some setup that needs you to feel somewhat comfortable following some tech steps. Plus it seems not all cities for the weather are supported. Mine included (it never updated from 0). Hopefully we will see an update to that. Lastly I would love to see them release an app for this so that it takes away some of the tech knowledge that is needed. But for me its all setup and I'm loving it.

Came here because I can't find valid weather codes. The URL they direct you too doesn't provide city codes. The city codes I found don't work. Weird.

Hey trying to connect sub counter. But idk if I've done API correctly. I've created a TH-cam Data API V3 and put it in settings but clock not updating. As I comment I see the next bit of your video. Now it's fixed using channel ID haha

So, one year later? Is this still alive? Does it work? Is the screen okay today? What about updates of subscriber numbers, are numbers up to date, or is it always late to show the right number of subscribers?
It still works and it’s still accurate with my subscription count.

I purchased your Ulanzi desktop clock TC001 and was able to set it up successfully.I have the youtube fans enabled with my UID and API key setup. I have 1888 subscribers now but the youtube fans is displaying 1880. Any update why its not updating?
Nice product… this is just me but it really bothers me that they won’t show the exact number of subs.
I wish there was a way i could set it to show a specific crypto price like btc, i mean that would have been very helpful, but i maye still buy it for subscriber count

Does your phone have to constantly be connected to the same network as the clock for the sub count to be updated?
no. once its connected to the internet it does it all on its own.

i think right now you can only get it directly from Ulanzi. But it is cool. And a nice price. Ill be looking to see if it comes up on Amazon as well.

Ulanzi carries some pretty nice products. I have a few of them and find them to be great quality and pricing.
The setup and operation seems to be 'unfriendly' at best. An App would be much more useful for limited knowledge users.
totall agree. love their gear, but this does take some tech knowledge or at least the ability to search and follow online instructions. But I would love for them to release an app for this.
The set up of this thing was a nightmare. I got mine in the mail today and the setup might have been the worst of any product I’ve ever come across. Did your weather ever update? I think I found the right weather code for my area, but it’s still showing 0 degrees like your is and that’s not the right temp.
I can't get the time to display correctly nor the date. I've tried adding the code in the settings of the clock and nothing. Setup is indeed a freaking nightmare.
@@santiagosim33 You shouldn’t need the code to set the time and date. If you go into the settings there should be a drop down box with a time zone selector. In my case it’s set up for auto and it works, but you can also manually select the time (it’s in GMT, so you’ll need to figure out how much plus or minus you are for your area). You do need the code for the weather, but as far as I can tell that won’t work if you’re in the U.S.. I still wish I wouldn’t have bought this and selling it to U.S. customers is is a bit shady on their part. This should only be bought by someone in the U.S. if they have a TH-cam channel and want subscriber counts.
@@joshuadanger904 thanks for that info. I guess I’m doing something wrong during setup because I’m using the blue forcer flasher and then I log onto the device IP but I don’t get a drop down menu instead I only see an ntp pool address and a JSON code for the timezone
