I'm working my way through these videos and wishing I'd found them before I started running the campaign. Every video so far has been helpful, and this one is particularly good for showing which towns are most important to the overall story. Thank you!
Hi, I have been reading the module and I just know how much my players will love ten towns and their mini quests together with the Sephek Kaltro quest. This section suits my players so well that I want to run all the quests. I was thinking of introducing an artifact, like a wooden shield with 11 spaces where gems of gratitude can be placed. 10 are blue and one in the middle is red. For each of ten towns quests when the ten towns fold genuinely feel gratitude and give the gem, it magically attaches to the wooden shield. Once completed, this shield can for example somehow be useful in the last chapter in the fight against Auril. This way my players would do ALL ten towns quests...what do you think?
Another great video! This is an excellent overview of the Ten-Towns and a nice summary of the factions. I especially liked how you used a plot graph to illustrate entertainment value vs plot importance of the towns and quests. Super handy for DM's who like to gently nudge the PC's in a certain direction. On another topic... I'm fascinated by the art hanging in the background... who are the artists?
