I also love the Rolls Royce. The ultimate in luxury! This museum looks great since I like cars from 1900 to 1950.

My mom has Alzheimer’s. I watched a couple of your videos when she was in the room and she really enjoyed them. So, we have started watching all your videos in order from #1. Your calm demeanor, happy attitude and cute sense of humor along with your fun and interesting locations have been really fun for both of us. This video in particular has been especially fun for her. She has laughed at your jokes and enjoyed your appreciation of the truly classic cars. Thank you. I will save this one to put on again when she needs a fun video to watch. Now on to your next video. 😊 BTW she enjoys each time you mention Ohio. We live in CA but she was born and raised in Hiram, Ohio and went to Ball State.

The founder and owner of Merle Norman cosmetics began collecting and restoring cars. Nethercut won Pebble Beach Concurs auto show 6 times. The son raced, became President of the company and continued the work on preserving and restoring cars. Amazing that this collection is free to see. The Rudolf Valentino car is just one of the gems of this collection.

Merle Norman cosmetics was founded in 1931 during the Great Depression in the Santa Monica. JB was the nephew and President for 72 yrs. Alive and well today, Merle Norman inc., expanded online sales because of the pandemic. The cars in the Nethercut Museum are exquisitely restored and presented.

Wow, this museum looks awesome, such beautiful cars with character and curves..the designs were so classy in the 20s and 30s...I'm not a car person either, but love seeing old ones like this, for their history and nostalgia ...Great Vlog Jordan.

You mentioned REO Speedwagon. That was a car made by Ransom E. Olds of Lansing, Michigan. The same guy created the Oldsmobile automobile.

Hey, Jordan, just to leave a comment about #77 vlog about Valentino's house: I have a friend that lives in L.A. who is a fellow Valentino admirer and he actually had the cajones to knock on the door of the house across the street from where Valentino's house was and talked to the owner. The owner confirms that his house is the original house, and that the there had been windows added on the left side of the front of the house, and the arched windows were squared off. So, you were right!! Just thought I'd let you know. Thanks for the vlog! :)

Loved seeing the 1907 Westinghouse car that was owned first by the Roebeling family who built the Brooklyn bridge. I just was in Roebeling NJ yesterday & drove by the grounds where the steel mill was there is a museum there but ,I was too far away to see if anything was there & keep up with traffic. I will have to check it out .

Go on-line for the Nethercutt Collection and make the appointment for the tour of the 2nd building across the street as well. Don't miss this best kept secret! All free although you may want to buy some Merle Norman cosmetics. Over 4000 makes of vehicles out there. So much to learn. And the luxury train car out back as well. You may want to go back again Jordan!

Thank you for sharing this. A trip down memory lane. When I was younger it brought back one of the last things I was able to do with my dad. Up in Reno Nevada there used to be a car museum Harrah's. I was a newlywed and I only went on one double date with my parents and we went to that. Again thank you for popping that memory back in my mind... FYI check out Barry Gibbs 64 Rolls Royce great classy vehicle.

The video ran out before you got to the other rows. Was the Isotta-Fraschini on display? Nethercutt has/had a similar model. Norma Desmond's Isotta-Fraschini Tipo 8A is now displayed at the Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile in Turin Italy, though there have been other contenders over the years. Valentino and Clara Bow were also Isotta-Fraschini owners.
You might also want to go through the "Hollywood Gallery" section of LA's Peterson Automotive Museum. Among others, they have a "Hannibal 8" and a "Leslie Special" from "The Great Race". Several of each auto were made for the film, and a "Leslie Special" is on display at the Tupelo Automobile Museum in Tupelo, Mississippi and another at Stahls Automotive Museum in Michigan. The original auto (a 1907 Thomas Flyer) that won the actual 1908 New York to Paris race is at the National Automobile Museum in Reno.

I once came upon a comprehensive list of automobile makers. There were hundreds of them before the Great Depression wiped out most of them. That's why you don't recognize the brand names of many of these old ones.
