Love that 96(ish) Viper! And it's my absolute favorite color combo! And I never see any of those lil SRT's around any more. Cool!
Thanks! Yes my Viper is a 96 and finding a clean SRT-4 that isn't a sh*tbox these days is quite the chore! I spent over a year looking for this one.
@@LifeatSpeed Nice! A great condition SRT-4 *has* to be super rare these days!
So I created a car club, just a local cars and coffee type of page, I am wondering how would you promote it, also how can I find some good car meet locations?
I’m definitely interested in joining a local club, the only thing holding me back is my two young children which cause me to miss most of the events. Thanks for another interesting topic.
You're welcome! Don't worry about missing events, life happens, but at least if you join you can be made aware of events you may not normally have found out about.

How did you monetize on your club?
Im supposedly going to be president of my local AC. They hate me so much because Im not a boomer, and dont want to keep the same 50s nostalgia train they have going.
So, choice 1, I take over, we adapt, and maybe even grow, or choice 2, dissolve the club. They would rather dissolve the club. Friends of over 10 years dont shake my hand anymore. I dont know why, just because Im not 60 or 70? I love this club, and want it to go back to its roots, but they just want to do silly picnics for them and their families, and ignore that most of the younger crowd arent even married. We want car focused activities. Track days and that.
The only thing we do, is once a year, we drive in a convoy, well under the speed limit (think of 15mph, traffic jams of classic cars) just to drive to a diner, and split again into the same cliques. Its boring. So much potential is being squandered over just one generation's nostalgia. Heck even the music at our cruise nights and car show is the same old doo wop music.
I wonder at times if its best to let them vote the club to dissolution and start my own thing, no board, just a group of guys that love cars.
PS, I LOVE your cars! I recently got into Mopars big time (bought 4 Hemis this year lol, from a Super Stock to a 1320...I went nuts). You have a very nice garage too, way nicer than mine.
That is quite the situation. If everyone hates you as you say, how did you become president? It sounds like there are 2 crowds in the club, an older crowd that want to maintain the status quo and a younger crowd that wants to do other things. The role of the president isn't to shape the club into what they want, but to execute on the wishes of the membership. It sounds like the best course of action is 2 clubs. One for the older crowd to maintain the status quo and one for the younger crowd that want to do other activities.
Thank you!
@@LifeatSpeed Im not prez yet. Nobody wants to be on the board, so I stepped up, brought in a few people to take on board positions, and with that, some younger members that want to attend meetings. Yes, two clubs would be ideal BUT, they dont have the board for it.
Im a bit hyperbolic about everyone hating me. Everyone on the current board maybe, but its frustrating realizing that they dont care about cars, or passing down the torch. They complain about young kids, without asking if they have tried to teach any of them. And yeah, they have good points, but mostly as a cover to not do anything.
I also have the option of starting a brand new club, or something, based on my channel, with some of the friends I made here. Its amazing and very inspiring that a shmuck like me has that. But, I do feel we can grow and bring some positive changes. So theres that to the mix too lol.
I may do some videos about this. I dont think clubs are down and out. There is still a lot of potential left in the format.
I just wanna know how you got your car up there lol
U put the car on the car lift and raise it
