Question guys: I thought there was/is a tradition in which Wisdom is a proleptic name for Christ?

Technically, all is Christ, but under what mode. :) So with the loss of the First Temple Wisdom tradition, confessors and academics made sense of Wisdom literature by reference to Christ.

@@smartcatholics Right, so what happens to Trinitarian Hypostases as names of God's action. Perhaps I need to watch again, which is no pain believe me. Love you guys. Also whilst we're here - In some ways your experience in providing Eucharist to your family must in some way have been so present to Luther, the reluctant Protestant. And yet I do believe we can get over this celibate priest thing in light of covid. Also Ive thought recently that in parishes and homes we could say Vespers of some type once a week and see if that attracts the liturgically hungry outside of wet-lettuce routine.

@@das3841 This is probably my own lack of understanding, but I don't see how Wisdom 'interferes' with the Trinity; but is an 'articulation' or expression, as the created interbeing between creation and divinity. She is the first creation, the Abyss, who offers a receptive Marian fiat just as her icon, Mary, will do 'later on'. - Dominic
