You guys have to remember that Hank was there only because he was trying to find Jesse, and was led there because of Jesse’s car. Hank wasn’t expecting to find Tuco there at all - that was a complete surprise.

Yup he also got stuck in the trunk of that car when Tuco slammed it back down on Jesse the door wouldn't open up so they had to get a crew in there to pry it open Aaron said it was really hot in there waiting to get out and then he gets that concussion and he almost died another time when he was standing under the tarp of the RV someone held it down with a big boulder to keep the wind from blowing it off but the wind blew the boulder off right where Aaron Paul had just been standing it only missed him because he asked the director of he should be standing more to the side so he moved over and down came the boulder

11:24 Here in the USA the idea that you have to wait 24 hours to contact law enforcement or law enforcement can't act until 24 hours is absolutely 100% wrong and this idea of the 24 hour wait has caused a lot of harm to victims. We need to squash this "24 hour" idea with the truth so there is no confusion or any harm done to any missing persons. If you fear someone is missing then you need to report it to the police immediately as the first 24 hours is by far the most crucial time period to find/help anyone who is in danger. Maybe its different in other countries but here in the USA its a falsehood perpetuated by good people who just don't know any better.

True, you can report someone missing instantly, there is no rule or law that you have to wait a certain time. The IMO more interesting question is, what the authorities would do about it? I'm pretty sure, if it's a adult, sane person, and there is no evidence for something like a crime or an accident, they will write a report and say "sorry, nothing we can do atm". And for sure they wouldn't be allowed to instantly search the persons car, track back his phone calls or anything like that.
I'm sure Hank broke a lot of laws, even though he was doing it in his free time. But he used the tools that should be exclusive to his work, he even tracked Jesses car, so a 3rd person with no involvement other than pure speculation.
Maybe in this case you could argue Walt could potentially have suicidal tendencies because of his diagnosis. But to convince a judge that him leaving the house after a phone call is enough proof to allow stuff like searching personal things, tracking phones and the like, is very far fetched I would assume.

the actor playing Hector Salamanca, played Antonio Nappa, the mob boss/wise guy in Oz, a prison drama (and one of the greatest series of all time imo).
that series had a theme for each episode and a narration/narrator.
the one Antonio nappa did over 20 years ago is fascinating.
"Oz - Communication with Antonio Nappa"
even moreso given how hector salamanca communicates.

      She was wrong here though.
She said "They know that Tuco's not responsible for the Crazy 8 (disappearance) now. They know that, for sure."
      This is 100% incorrect.
      1. The DEA doesn't even know Crazy 8 is dead for sure, and still suspect Tuco.
      2. The DEA thinks they caught Captain Cook in the original bust.
      3. Walt is the only one who saw Jesse's license plate at the scene.
There is no hypothesis about some bigger guy at this point in the story, at all. They even think the new strain of meth might be from chemistry students. Pudgey is usually spot on but is reading into this one way too much.

    Two things!
The first, due to a writers strike at the time. This was supposed to be the end of season one. They ended season one early because of that strike.
Second, there’s a podcast between the writer and some directors that came out after each episode aired. They discussed when Jesse was thrown through the door he actually was injured and he kept the scene going, after it cut he was taken to the hospital for his injuries. They used that take in the show. Pretty cool.

Bit of an explanation of how Hank found Jesse's car. Back when this show aired, the option to satellite track a car in case of theft was more of an aftermarket option. Nowadays it is practically standard equipment. In the US, if you wanted that option you would take your car in to a shop to have a "Lo Jack" system installed. Lo Jack was the most popular company selling those systems and their name became synonymous with being able to track a vehicle. Hank asked Gomey to see if Jesse's car was equipped with a Lo Jack system. It was, and that's how Hank was able to track Jesse's car.

In the USA its a myth that police wait 24 hours to look for a missing person. (That’s just a movie thing) In fact its best they start the search immediately as most people are forever gone after 48 hours and waiting 24 of those 48 for no reason cuts someone’s chances of being found by half. They dont really do that.
