The price point and the design are fantastic. Wish they would’ve used a double boiler to cut down that reheat time. Also, not thrilled with the steam nob. Thanks for the review!

it would’ve been HUGE if it were a dual boiler

@@withbrandonn Maybe. I guess that, personally, I’m looking for something as “clean” as the AnZa, but as powerful as the Rancilio Silvia Pro X.

Having replaced the water reservoir myself after it cracked from a move, you CAN replace and remove it. I had to reach out to their team to receive a PDF guide on how to do so. Not exactly super easy, but it can be done. I also have my gripes with the machine, but it serves me and my wife well for some easygoing drink-making in the morning. Looking to upgrade to the Linea Mini or Micra in the near future.

Wow, this machine looks so similar to Chinese Petrus PE3888 😅 It was the machine I was collecting info about to make a decision if I want to buy that. Except the design of Anza, everything looks almost the same. Same shape, same knob, similar parameters. But PE3888 has actually two boilers (thermoblocks really) one sits over the brewing group and another one for steaming near the rear wall of the machine. So there you can actually steam and make coffee simluteniously. But in terms of steam power it still not very great, because it's just 1400W thermoblock. I bet these machines probably quite identical inside. But I don't really like PE3888 design, your machine looks much better. And the knob... you probably can just find a wooden knob to replace the original one haha Thanks for the video!

I got the Profitec GO just before I saw this machine. It looks to have more of what I'd prefer: stainless steel boiler, non-plastic water reservoir, pre-infusion. No PID display though, but those specs are amazing at that price point. I wonder though, are there a bunch of plastic internals? The Profitec GO boasts an all-metal path for water (even though the water reservoir is plastic).

that i'm not too sure, would have to check or ask them

I remember seeing this on ssense a while back... After looking at the specs it definitely doesnt seem like its aimed at the enthusiast but more of a art piece.
1k+ these days gets you PID, manual PI, and even flow control.
That said it looks nice, just not practical

steam knob looks like a 50 year old bathroom faucet handle, the style you remodel to get rid of.

How difficult do you think it would be to access the internals of the machine? I notice it uses the same Ulka pump as a Gaggia, and wonder if it would be possible to install a dimmer mod in it like people do with Gaggia machines.

Yeah, it may look cool for some people but how is this machine different from a gaggia classic from 5 years ago?

if you don't care about aesthetics too much, would suggest a different one. although this one really matches my overall interior well and still pulls a decent shot
