thesilversupporter it wasn't the way he said it that made Ricky laugh, Steve has a eye reflex that for some reason his eyes lids open up more than most which makes Ricky laugh
@@storiesofintrigue1605 I don't believe so. In the final edit it's a montage of Steve and Maggie getting along during dinner before it cuts to them on the couch and Steve trying to cover up the mess he made in the toilet. I think they ad libbed in the kitchen to provide the B-roll footage for the montage, and is why it caught Maggie off guard when Steve slipped a joke in. In my opinion :)

I love the SAS conversation because of course it's hilarious, but also it's a great example of how to do exposition efficiently. We never see what his time was like with the SAS, but in one joke, we can pretty much tell what happened. He was a dufus and the SAS...I mean Super Army Soldiers, took the piss out of him non-stop.
I think the moment Ricky jumped the shark was when he used Fix You by Coldplay UNIRONICALLY in Derek. He's still pretty cool, though. But that series showed that he thought he could pull off emotion without investing in the heart of a show.
LMAO "just check this out" Hahaha, goddddd... the moment when he flips the calculator upside down for the first time is so brilliant.. We used to do that shit in school at like 14 and it's still funny today no matter what age.
2:43 is honestly a moment of insane genius as Gervais’ voice cracks to the extent his look of absolute shock has me in constant fits of laughter. Watch it on repeat and try not to laugh … EVERY.SINGLE.TIME.
I love how Ricky cannot help but laugh at that calculator. It’s one of the oldest, most tired jokes, associated with a calculator. But he laughs like it’s a quality one liner. Hilarious 😂
I had not considered that b4 but it makes perfect sense in that he achieves his objective of a Re-Take without offending anyone by implying their acting was not up to scratch ir what was required especially as he is flattering the other Actor by saying he/she is funny...
Welsh Wanderer i'm not too sure to be honest. they just don't seem to do anything together anymore. i think they were a perfect combo and both are not as good without the other
I genuinely don't understand any comments like this. How many people have you worked with that you never keep in touch with now. It's a job. That is all it is. No matter how many laughs you had.
^ I completely agree. It is usually with people he is close to, but it is his humour. He never intentionally wants to hurt anyone's feelings, he expects people to give it back. He really is genuinely a nice guy.
I agree. Karl is the most fascinating person on Earth to me. I love getting insight into how hes thinking, and im always god damn amazed how Ricky can sometimes figure out what Karl is trying to say with little to know info. I remember him talking about that "bad wind in America", and from that Ricky somehow knew he meant Hurricane Katrina. On the first guess too. Thats god damn amazing, cause i was so confused as to what a "bad wind in America" could be, i wasnt even thinking a hurricane.
It's a good thing Ricky is in charge of the show, cos he corpses about 3 times as much as anyone else. The upside is he has seriously infectious laughter.
On a side note i love this upload so thank you for doing this. Got some gems and i dislike how people voted this down, i dont get how something in this entire clip cant strike you as funny. Some people lack a sense of humor entirely. Maybe its a anti British accent thing from America (im American), i think some people dont give British any media other than music a chance cause of the accent. I think the accent/slang is awesome and am stealing lots of it and finding im using it alot recently.
I know it sure wasn´t funny for most people, but I lost it when Sir Patrick Stewart was telling the story of having the ladies in the helicopter, and then he said "I can sneek a look in the mirror (to look on the ladies in the back)" as that thing would have one. Bahahaaa!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hahahah, yeah it's awesome! I always thought that I'd love to show Karl Brokeback Mountain and then stumbled across that a few weeks ago. Best bit is when he asks to see a bit of it again and Ricky and Steve poke fun at him. :')
@lennartjuhh I met him when I was a kid. I don't remember it, but my dad said that we were just going shopping one day and we bumped into him as he was coming out of the shop. Apparently, he knelt down to talk to me, so that we were at the same height :-)
You're very welcome, darling. I don't get how people vote things down when the title explains exactly what it is, tbh. Like, I wouldn't click on it if the title suggested I wouldn't like it. I dunno XD. I always thought a lot of Americans didn't get our humour sometimes, of course not all Americans, but it's different cultures I guess. See, I think America makes some brilliant films, & English TV shows, to me, are fantastic (particularly comedy) & high five :3 I'm English so it's nice to hear XD
I can't remember what they said, either XD Cockney is just an accent/person from a particular part of London. Not everyone from London is cockney, though. England has a very large variety of accents. Karl is from Manchester, and I'm from Staffordshire (in between Manchester and Birmingham) so our accents aren't very different. I don't know, I think Cockney's are stereotyped as "common" (loud, rude, etc) but ofc not necessarily true. I do poke fun at others in my country though, just as banter XD
I usually watch this once every couple weeks to increase my serotonin level.

It looks like you'd laugh enough for a lifetime.
An extra on the extras
"Have a little sip of tea and drink it!"
"But I've 'ad about three cups now!"
"I was dressed up as a fucking genie for a day!"
I wonder how many hours of footage of Ricky corpsing there is in existence
+VideoDeadGaming they had to start measuring it in days, not hours.
More camera time than all TV and movies
@@jshep73 No wonder his shows have few episodes... If they were to make a 22 episode, it would take a year with him
