Wow so amazing. I am from Germany and have myself traveled on the Serbian train, first from Berlin to Budapest then to Belgrad and finally the legendary Belgrad to Bar Train to celebrate graduating from Highschool with my friends. It was a crazy cool experience and I still can’t believe that my friends where willing to do this trip. We also had to pay some extra to even get Tickets for the way back. And you always have to know someone who knows someone, so it helps to go in the 6 bed rooms and to get to know some Serbians and drink some beer with them and lean out the window. We had over 5h delay but is was nice how everyone was fine with it because for the Serbian people the vacation already Starts in the train. It’s special to see everyone so happy compared to people on planes and western trains. So overall a lifelong Memory and so worth it! Also love your videos and remembering all the good times and just keep doing what you are doing.

Agreed! It’s like the train is rocking you to sleep - we were pretty tired but considering how long we were awake for in the middle of the night I thought we would be worse!
Awesome video, planning to take this train, if I can manage to reserve a bed in early February while in Sofia, and then taking the Night-train to Bucharest a week later. Wish me luck, I hope reservations are easier in Winter.

Nice video, I have some questions.. first: what kind of bed for one want travel like single, do you have photo? Second: do you go to check point in border or they took passports and stamp it and brought it for you? Third: do you need to take luggage out train in check point to scanner it ? Thanks

I love train travel. I sleep so much better with the movement but the broken sleep with border crossings would be tough.

Can I ask you a thing? You need to book the train 2 weeks before and the buy the tickets the same day you leave for turkey? Can you book online?
You can ONLY book at the station and you can book whenever you want. But the tickets do sell out so the earlier you can book, the better!
