Pro tip: the game calculates fall damage by how long you spend in the air, so by double jumping your spending more time in the air therefor you take more fall damage

Double jumping resets your momentum so if you time it right it actually mitigates damage. If you jump again halfway down drops you take less damage, or sometimes mitigate it completely.
You sure about that? Previously lethal fall dmg had always just been a set height. Considering the game is very new too, there are a lot of rumors going around that are just spreading incorrect info, so unless I’m seeing some testing on this I’m gonna remain skeptical on that claim.

You can also modify or “alter” the garment of the Carian Knight chest (while resting in a lost grace) turning it into the OG Enchanted Knight as it removes the cape.
But it also drops the stats

Cleanrot armor is really good statistically. High debuff resistances & physical damage mitigation on top of almost 50 poise. Can't go wrong with it.
would like to see anyone prove me wrong, but i believe this might even be the best statted gear set?

@@jameswesten3032 Radahns is better if you have the equip load to wear it, which is fairly easy to achieve even on lower endurance builds with the great jars arsenal talisman
@@jameswesten3032 there's actually a couple of them that's better, radahn included.
Important : noone covers this for the raging wolf set, but you do need to talk to rya at the manor to be offered the final letter. Basically, you will find her next to bernahl the first time you go there (she has an earlier questline in liurnia but it's optional for this). Just to be sure, talk to her whenever you come back for another letter. At one point she won't be in the dining room anymore but she'll be in a room on the other side of the corridor (and she'll look a bit different). If you haven't talked to her there, bernahl won't offer the optional letter which leads you to the raging wolf set. The reason i'm stating this is that Tanith will still invite you to an audience with "the lord" once you completed the first three kills, and it's easy to just accept, causing you to get locked out of the optional kill since bernahl does not seem to have another letter for you. So just remember that it's not only three kills, it's three kills PLUS the optional one that gives you the raging wolf set, which requires you talking to rya in the other room before obtaining it. DO NOT accept an audience with the lord before getting the raging wolf set. Fromsoft have made it reeeeaaaally easy for you to lock yourself out of this...

@@kayrabilmez7604 They did it, they just didn't specify you had to talk to rya. And if you don't, you won't know there's still a kill missing and you can get locked out of it.

Regarding Blaidd's mask you can actually get all the set, you just need to complete all Ranni's quest and go back to her tower and you will have it there after defeating an enemy.

I just realized Vyke's armor has fingerprints melted into it because he went to the three fingers still with his armor on which probably caused him to go mad and not obtain the frenzied flame. He didn't seem to know you're supposed to take everything off.
Or maybe he didn't want to loose his maiden [ the burning stuff ] , so he went to the three fingers to do the burning himself or maybe he didn't want to be an elden lord at all after learning what was to be done.
and maybe his maiden left him? so he became mad.
Had no grapes for waifu, so he wasn't guided.

FUCK. Guys, remember, DO NOT KILL Volcano Manor boss (Rykard the Serpent) before you do all assasination quests provided. Otherwise NPCs will just vanish, and you will no longer receive any more assasination missions. Don't be like me :(

The fingerprint armor set is one of the best in my opinion. The story of Vyke and then the lord of Frenzy himself like Jesus Christ. It’s my favorite elden ring ending besides Ranni’s. The frenzied flame genuinely had so much potential

SPOILER AHEAD, DO NOT READ IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW:
Since this video shows the black wolf mask, you can also get the rest of the black wolf set after completing ranni's questline. Return to ranni's rise and at the foot, you'll hear blaidd talking to himself before he becomes hostile towards you. After that, you kill him and he drops the blaidd set which goes with the black wolf mask. Bonus: If you go to seluvis' rise you will also find seluvis dead and his set will be there for you to pick up.
Blaidd never showed up for me. I did get selvius set though. Completed the ranni quest.
@@alexclawson8798 if you go to Renna's rise, the quest continues. I'm assuming you only have her the fingerslayer blade, as that is when seluvis dies

i was thinking of doing a bleed build that i would name hoonter and give it that set + travellers hat cause some dudes have that in bb and then kinda make him look like sometjing i could make in the bb charecter creation like the harry potter type hair + the beard thats like on the sides :D

which of these would you say is best for a samurai build who'll run Hand of Malenia?
I'm kind of mad there aren't any "light" armors in the game other than standard chainmail which is a step back design wise....Creighton's chainmail for example from DS2 was so good looking, even the Herald armor from DS3. I hope modders put it in the game without weird clipping of the cape, we shall see.
You can get surcoats for your mail chest piece, go to the merchant on the bridge in leyandell.
He sells one and you can get another from rykard's boss room.
They for whatever reason offer more defense than the standard mail, you can also get a greathelm from a merchant near the swamp in caelid.

@@aligr3224 I'm talking about the visuals of the armor, not the actual stats. Most if not all armors in this game are bulky...if you play a female character it looks off.

I wouldn't really call the Cleanrot Knight set to be secret, but its really cool lol
When I was farming the cleanrot knight armor set I got 3 pieces out of 4 I just needed the chest piece it kept giving me boots so when I got it I had like 10 boots and today I got the weapon from doing the hailek tree

If you die while trying to get the royal remains when you get to the last step do you spawn again till you beat him or is it like a one time thing if you die you cant ever get it ?

surprised he didn’t show how to get blaidds armor to go along with the black wolf mask. you finish rannis questline and then when you go back to her tower, blaidd will be right out front and he will attack you on sight. the lore behind it is blaidd was rannis shadow and he thought he was destined to be rannis champion when you finish her questline u become her true champion and he goes crazy with this reality. after that you can go and tell Iji about what happened with blaidd he will give u some dialogue. next time you go back to Iji you’ll find his dead body surrounded by some dead black knives poor dude gets assassinated but u get his dope helmet

@@aligr3224 Royal remains is literally dressing yourself in a skeleton. Cant get much darker or edgier than that. And yes the wolf head is nearly as edgy. Anything to represent being tormented or a misunderstood monster. Cleanrot is fine, jist happened to be an innocent bystander in the example.
@@aligr3224 Skulls are 100% edgy. The first player message I found in Roundtable hold was one right in front of the npc wearing Royal Remains that said "careful edgelord ahead". lmao
I get almist all cleanrot parts (ex the helm) from poisoned manor in Altus plateau. Here be 3 cleanrot knight and they have hp less that Caelid ones
