I feel that the renegade 1k is a good machine. It had plenty of power and it rides really well. Only problem to me is that everyone has one but that's just me. Other than that. It's one of the best atv's on the market for sure! Even in GNCC. You'll see renegade 1k XXCs competing with YFZ 450s which is impressive!
@@ADVENTURESThisWay agreed, i just got rid of my 22 renegade 1k xmr and got myself the 23 outlander xxc 1000 and shes a beast! i flashed the ecu since i had the pv3 already and put my 31 havoks on it
Personally after owning an outlander 850xmr for 5 years. They are great machines! Every brand has their flaws. I have been personally bucked off of my outlander 3 different times this year because of how much lightweight I am. The throttle housing on mine is now what I thinking about because that’s what snapped and got caught in my machine and caused it to drive itself. The 850 has a lot of power too! Just these new machines ride better, throttle response is better. The wiring placement is way better on these versus the early gen 2 outlander/renegade setups. I recently had to replace my entire engine harness. Honestly I think you should keep your 2021 because they are way better built than the 2018s.
I was in a situation earlier this year when I rolled my Renegade to either try and buy a new one or fix it. I fixed it because I still owed money on it and to buy a new one I would of had to start from scratch to upgrade it to what mine is now. The only benefit of a new one would of been lower miles but still high maintenance. Besides not much has changed.
Renegade and outlander has the same wheel based, ground clearance, weights are pretty much the same. Outlander you get racks its cheaper and you get less dirtier. There's no benefits for the renegade except stronger diff and larger gearbox. Bikes are the same it comes down to preferance Coming from a Renegade owner
Wait until you have 4-5years on it and start having electrical issues… I learned the hard way to just go ahead and replace the entire wiring harness

Tough break with your machine. Personally I prefer the electronic throttle. It takes some getting used to though.

Nothing compares to riding an Atv. SXS just don’t give you the same thrill. I miss mine
I guess it would depend on the type of riding and terrain. Big wide open trails a sporty SxS could be fun
