Sam, I'm sorry you have been feeling so overwhelmed. I can only imagine what you are going through! Having to move out from your old apartment to your new one all on your own. Cleaning, getting organized, traveling back and forth, working, and still taking care of your YT channel and of your precious fur baby and yourself! Girl! Anyone in your shoes would have probably had a mental breakdown on the 1st day! You are doing so much it is only natural for you to want to vent and even to let it out by crying! I know I do! My favorite time to do that is when I'm driving (thank God I have super dark tinted windows! lol!) But, I do! I pray and I cry and before you know it I'm all cried out and I feel an overwhelming peace in my heart. I will be praying for you mamas

I always have my group chats muted, because I can't stand when my phone goes off a hundred times in a row, but this one was a direct text and it's been an ongoing thing that frustrates the hell out of me. I really want to share the tea, but let's just say, I won't for right now... but when you see me announce a big change eventually, it'll all make sense ;)

Ive done hair all my life and used to do three 12hr daze a week for many years and looking back now, i dont know how i did it. I love your videos and how you work but could feel the frustration, been there also🤍

I love dimmable light bulbs!! I've been replacing every regular light bulb with one! It makes a really big difference since I get stimulation overload with lights very easily. It's a quick fix that makes a BIG difference

I recently bought some smart bulbs too bc it is known that red light helps to secrete melatonin, the hormone responsible for sleep and it doesn’t disrupt your sleep either. They’re great and I love them. Glad you got some.
Can you move the dog bowl out a bit more away from the power cord. It freaks me out with the water when he drinks it haha just to be safe!
I think as women we often get down on ourselves for not being balanced 24/7, but the reality is our bodies aren’t wired that way! Hormones/periods make stress like 10X & it’s normal & it passes 💛 I really related to you when you broke down, so just a reminder that we ARE doing our best and we SHOULD have things under control MOST of the time, not all of the time

@@styledbysamvay i also worked as a senior stylist in 3 salons for 13yrs n its a hard industry to be in,it can be extremely rewardin but also massively toxic,i went thru MORE than a single persons fair share,felt i took the brunt for every1 n it gets suffocatin n overwhelming n i feel ur hurt when u got upset,you are honestly doin fantasticly tho for such a young woman and you should be extremely proud of everything you've accomplished...xx

Just make sure you get the same brand bulb in the different size so it all can be on the same app. I got mine at target and they're regular bulb size. I have the same app and control my 2 lamps together. I still dont do voice control anything and dont have an alexa. So fun!
They're different brands, but both are synced with my Alexa, so they're connected that way. It is fun! :) I love all of the different color options!

I feel like this would be way less overwhelming if you didn’t drag it out for a month straight. Like just rent a u-haul and get it over with. Then you wouldn’t be sleeping on an air mattress running back and forth everywhere for a month
Lol it's not just the moving itself that has been stressing me out. It's other behind-the-scenes things, and I know it wasn't very clear because there's things I don't feel would be appropriate to talk about online right now. I honestly have been enjoying taking my time and doing it in stages, because I've been able to unpack and organize as I go, which *for me* is a lot less overwhelming than doing it all in one shot.

Now that you are done with the moving do you think it wouldve been better to hire a moving company and pay that with the money you paid for that extra month on both places? Or do you recommend having a full month to move slowly?
I didn't choose to have an extra month on purpose, but I did like how it worked out. I've never hired professional movers, so I can't say which would be better or easier. But I will say.. I can be kind of a control freak with certain things, so I do like doing it all on my own.
No one ever tells you how hard it will be working with all girls ... salon life is not easy im sure 😢... thinking of you hoping for positive changes for you soon ❤

I’m sorry but I’m like watching your videos thinking to my self why is it taking so long to move lol like I know it’s just you but that means it’s also just your stuff. I would not be decorating I would have just got a U-Haul filled that thing up and unpacked everything in that spare room you have, then go through it and then start to decorate… I’m just confused.
Because I don’t want to do it that way ? Lol. I prefer to unpack and organize as I go. It makes the process less overwhelming for me. And I still had to pay for the whole month at the old place, so why rush the process if I didn’t have to?
You didn't have to get confused , everyone do thier stuff differently, also she works damm hard to get stuff that she likes for herself you may think it's alot but she likes to buy whatever she wants as that her own money that she works hard for, so that shouldn't make you annoyed just watch her lovely videos and you can share your opinions in a nicer way 😁

Love watching your vlogs… but you have sooooo much stuff for being single. Your boyfriend should be helping you.
He's 10 hours away and is in school full time Monday-Friday. If he was in a position where he *could* be here, trust me, he would. But it's really not worth him buying an expensive plane ticket, just so he can be here for 24 hours. We wouldn't be able to get much done in that time, and I would much rather do it by myself anyway. The overwhelm and frustration I was feeling was related to specific people/situations on top of everything else, so him helping with moving stuff wouldn't have changed that. I just don't feel like it's appropriate to share specifics just yet, because some of it is work related.
