Dear Erin, I have been working for the same company (public sector) for over a decade and have yet to get promoted. They continue to see me as a young gun (at 31 y/o). However, I have two degrees, have obtained unrequired training throughout the entirety of my employment, and have provided successful results to all the complex projects I work on daily, etc. It has destroyed my self-esteem and is beginning to affect my work ethic, which I am very proud of and do not wish to tarnish! After being passed at yet another promotion for someone much less qualified - yet again - I am officially ready to move on. Thank you for your help and inspiration. I also love Red Bull. 😊
