Thank you sir! This was driving me insane! Mine did the chime but when I pushed the brake pedal it stoped. So I took out both tail lights and low and behold the brakelight bulps where a bit different from the rest. So I changed all the taillight bulps and the reverse bulps to. It seems to be gone now. 03 Ram Thank you again sir.
I was fighting this issue for a long time, tried the rear tail light boards as mine looked like trash, didn't fix the lamp out, finally, after many other steps including new ground wires, I replaced the front turn lamp sockets and lamp out is gone!!
Put some of that die electric grease on all the contacts too!!! Put it on your battery cables too! it will help so much!.. Thanks for sharing and good luck with the lamp out issue...
Recently I've replaced both tail light circuits due to them starting to fry my bulbs. Also a little tip, LED reverse light have to go in a particular orientation. If they don't work flip them 180 degrees and reinsert.
This truck is literally the reason I have always wanted a early 3rd gen.

Yep. Had to do this on my 2003. Took me a while to figure out that it was that board in the tail light lol. My bulbs were melted on the black plastic.

Very timely I just experienced the same problem
Thank you brother...
Saw a trick on cleaning the Battery terminal fast and easy . Pour hot hot water and it dissolves instantly .
How does cleaning battery terminals solve issue
413 000 Miles??
What year is your Ram? I have an 03 with the same annoying issue.
Mine is an 03 also.
We’re all your lights working ?
I’m having this issue but all lights are functioning !
I’ve seen it both ways. I believe for this video all the bulbs appeared to be working!
My issue is that I hear the chime, then my headlights turn on!
I changed all my bulbs and still beeps so annoying
You might have to swap out the circuit boards if the bulbs don’t do it.
Pour hot water 💧 on your battery terminals.

Thanks John. I thought about swapping out the circuits. Did your circuits come with new screws?
First step should be CHECK ALL YOUR LAMPS 🥴
Why do you have 2 batteries ? Lol
It’s a diesel. The come this way from the factory.
So you just changed the bulbs? 🤦🙄
6 months later and I haven’t seen that chime again
@@OutpostCTD yeah bro but that's because a bulb was bad. The problem is when the bulbs work and the thing keeps ringing
@@OutpostCTD BRUH! 🥴😂🤣
@@javiermorales4228 Did you ever figure out why it was chiming while all the bulbs work?!
@@stanleysdsms7058 I changed the grey thing where all three bulbs go. I took out the one that looked the worst and replaced it and it stopped.
