When I got a fresh pair I’d do everything you said in the house... when I took the off I’d set them out somewhere where I could just see them on a regular basis. My parents... and later even my wife... thinks it so weird because at 43 I STILL do all of that. 😆

Honestly, I’m not a big fan of non OG retros. This one though, actually caught my eye. This is the best non OG or collab Jordan that has come out in quite in a while. One of the best looking 13s IMO.

This is one of the 2020 releases I'm stoked to get. I honestly think these will be ducks though and just sit. But i want them for sure. one of my top 5 silhouettes.
2:24 imo they put the halo on the tounge for the 98 allstar game to differentiate from the other 13's that released that season.

i think the toe box in white would be a lot better look if they wanted to do a reverse of the wht/blk... also are they retroing the wht/red again anytime soon? i need... i've had all the OG cw except the wht/red. also i think MJ actually wore the wht/red more often that season.
The colorway is really clean but I width they put the synthetic suede on the midsole...as it should be. It honestly reminds me of the Jumpman Team 1...blk/white colorway. I can answer the “Circle” question. Like you mentioned...all their apparel had the circle logo. I had the original launch Jordan Brand tee shirt, shorts, Full zip sweat pants and the shooting shirt (which was my favorite). The circle logo was suppose to represent all Jordan Brand Performance models at the time. Any lifestyle model didn’t have the circle logo.

Hahaha Chris is taking me back to my youth with the new sneakers story. Holding them, looking at them a lot, trying them on and staring at them. This is literally something I still do. When I get new shoes I will have them sitting next to me in my office for a few days. I sit them on top of the box and admire them. We are cut from the same cloth sir.

I may be mistaken but I swore I heard somewhere from "Brand Jordan" that the ring around the Jumpman logo is supposed to mimic that of the Mercedes-Benz logo, somewhat like the Jordan 14 logo and the Ferrari.

Like the colorway, it’s clean. I don’t really see the “reverse” that the internet gave these, it’s more of an opposite of the “ASG/Playoffs” in my opinion.

The lines in between the traction pods should have been red. Out side of that they are dope...but theyll probably go on sale....like knightwing said everyones waiting for allstar weekend releases

Another dope review as usual Nightwing. Happy New Years to you & the Wife. I think these are dope despite the hate some have given it. I think they shouldn’t have called these the HHG reverse and just called them like the Bulls Alternate or Oreo 13s I bet no one would be giving this shoe the slack it’s getting. To me it’s a great shoe I will be picking them up that 3mm is so dope to me instead of going with the Nubuck mudguard. But dope shoe colorway is dope to me it’s a cop
I believe the reason for the gold ring around the jumpman on the 13’s was a symbolic way for MJ going for the gold = championship, hence the nickname...playoff 13
Before they were dubbed playoffs they were dubbed the All Stars as MJ debuted the shoe, gold ring and all, in the NBA All Star Game. We were informed that it was the way the brand in its infancy let consumers know which product was performance based and which were not.

The 2 thing's I would change is if you're truly call reverse he got games. Actually reverse them. The bottom should be red accented and the toe box along with the tongue should be white.
Yea I got them when they first dropped and I'm glad I did they are easy to whipe clean no creases I've worn them 4 times and the bottoms are icy white still. I like this shoe I just wish it was the same material as the bred 13s

I love the color but the white should've been suede for sure that would've made them way better.
I would have preferred non-textured leather on the toe, and to keep the theme the toe and tongue should've been white and the sole and pod colors reversed

They just dropped both of those within the last 5 years. You can easily find them on the aftermarket.

The bottom of the shoe is supposed to mimic a cats paw and the holograms are supposed to mimic a cats eye. I'm thinking the circle with the jumpman is the same.
The original release of the 13’s white and black color way was the first jordan shoe I ever owned as a kid. That shoe hold so much warm nostalgic feeling for me I can’t even describe. To me no color way will ever be as dope as the very first. Also.. not a fan of the circle on the tongue 🤷🏼♂️

Issa dope colorway. Now that the red/black 1s are officially limited to 23k pairs I might fuck around and grab these. XIIIs overall need a silhouette remaster to match the OG body shape tho.
