Yup so true. In the US the Jordan sneakers are always bought up regardless of the quality. Meanwhile over seas Jordan’s are sitting they aren’t interested in buying the low quality products
The 13 is my favorite silhouette of the entire Jordan line, with the additional benefit of being extremely comfortable. Missed out on the "He Got Game" back in 2018, but fortunately scored on the "Chicago" in 2017 and then "Red Flint" last year, the Del Sol is cool but I wish they bring back the "Playoffs" again.
Since you miss out on the he got game colorway. Did you get the obsidian. Bec the obsidian is the close colorway to buy.
@@truegrizzlesfan2292 I thought about it, but didn't end up going for them because I wasn't too big of a fan of the colorway (too much blue) and felt its color palette wouldn't work with most of my clothes. And with how much Js cost these days (retros cost anywhere from $255 to $270 in Canada, assuming you can even grab them for retail), I figured I would just save the money for down the line.

Man I'm with you, 13's are my all time favs and I copped these on SNKRS so I'm happy, I don't really get around the hype and re-sell marker, obviously I just cop what I love and shock horror, I wear my shoes till death. Each to their own but If these don't gather much attention then its just a bonus for me because it means I don't have to crawl my ass into my local Sneaker resell shop and see if I can grab a par for 150% over marker value 2 days after release. Just my opinion

Another 13 that was on the list for pickup in 2022. Love the colorway on these and 13’s are quickly becoming one of my favorite Jordan silhouettes. I’ll have my pair Wednesday thanks to an Exclusive Access Drop and can’t wait…

these ugly, but yeah, the 13s used to be on the lower end of my choice from 1-13, prob like last 3, but now its def top 5 for choice, the court purple/bred colorways are so clean

Talking about Jordan getting the lass on garbage quality, my patent bred 1s had a full 6 stitch holes on the eyestays that are below the actual stitching, in addition to a good 1/4" streak of red paint bleed on the sole. How they passed QC is beyond me. It's no wonder people go Reps these days, they at least take pride in their quality and cost less.
I remember getting Melo 13's in the outlet on Black Friday for $95
The new Jordan's(34-36) are great performance models, but I miss the creativity of the older models like the 13 that made them unique.
ive got the 35's but i still think the 13's are better comfort wise
1-13 was the excitement of seeing Jordan play in the shoes and wondering how they look up close in person (no internet or social media)
It's not the same without Tinker Hatfield doing most of the work designing them since he's now supervising the innovation dept at Nike. That's why Tinker was so good at them, finding new aspects of Jordan's lifestyle, or in other series of Air and incorporating them in a working design.
I will try and get me a pair of these, I really like the colors on this one. I think the 13's are really comfortable, i got the Hyper Royal, the Red Flint and Flint's. Use them casual, not a hooper, 50 and bad knees lol. But for long walks they are really comfy at least that is my opinion. These will look great during spring/summertime.

In case anyone is still wondering whether to go for these, I gotta say I was a bit too disappointed with the material and put-together process of the shoes. Clumsy stitching around the lining and the lace holes, a small hole on the top of the in-side of the midsole and outsoles that had glue spilled onto. Played one game and practiced once in them before the whole insole Jumpman logo started colouring my shoes. After another game, I decided that I wanna send them back to Nike and detail what were the issues I experienced.
To think that these things cost soooo much and the quality is so bad sometimes infuriates me.
I think the 13 in general is a really interesting shoe with a truly unique design, but I've never owned any, so I can't talk from experience. This colourway though, is not for me, at all. The combination of white, yellow and red feels really off in my opinion. Hope everyone that like them are able to get them at retail!

I got the J1 brotherhood last week - I love them. I think they’re class. But my word, I had to open the windows because to lace them almost made me wretch the smell was so strong!

Got em myself, to pair these you have to have a good base color like black or white. To mix it up try a gold polo and jeans or fitted tee and black joggers and let the shoes pop. Instant 🔥 and prepare for complements.

Copped a pair for retail at Footlocker. It was a last size 12 and I am so glad that I was able to get em'. I also got the chance to try on in store just to see if they fit, i gotta say this has to be the most comfortable shoe (specifically about jordan retros) I have ever worn compare to most of my other retros like 1s, 3s & 4s.

53 to be exact, the original 1’s were still selling for $65 in different color ways when the 2’s came out..The 2’s got lost between the 1’s and 3’s… Because when the 3’s came out, that shoe had the Spike Lee commercials, there was no turning back… Funny, before Jordan hit the the shot for North Carolina, he was always referred to as Mike Jordan… After that game, it was always Michael Jordan

I’m not the biggest yellow person but DAMN these look fresh as hell!!! Original color blocking all day everyday!! It’s funny that the red stains are happening here too. you’d think after the Melo joints got B graded, they’d rectify the situation.🤷🏽♂️

Too bad Jordan Brand doesn’t use quality leather seems like they do for some but a lot seem to be more of a low quality bonded leather. Because of the state of resale prices they might as well use better leather and raise prices. Instead of raising prices and selling the same lower quality stuff.
