My girlfriend surprised me with these as an early birthday/Christmas gift (she was hoping to wait till Christmas but didn’t trust that I wouldn’t get em if I saw them at a good price lol). The 14s were a must have for me as a kid, always my favorite Jordan’s. And I felt like a kid at Christmas when she gave me these lol. Hands down my favorite shoe from my collection.

Facts man for the first time in months I hit on the hares on snkrs today, I’m not gonna front all the prior releases though I’ve used shoe palace and they have great bot protection I’ve hit in anywhere from 50 mins to 2 1/2 hrs on like the previous 5 drops

Then bought the Laney retro and a pair for my dad. So I have an attachment to the 14, especially ones with the suede.

What!!! ? I rocked these in the white/ Oxidized Green Colorway in 99/00' as a 4th grader. Second pair I ever had. First were the French Blue/ Flint Grey 13s with 3M and I might even put the 14s over those :)
Never been much of a Jordan 14 guy but these are really nice looking. My issue with 14's is that they DO NOT hold up over time. I wore my last shot's maybe twice and they look like I fought a war in them. Also, not a fan of the exposed midsole on the tread of the shoe. But these look really nice for sure!
14s were my first pair of Jordans back in ninth grade. Got the white/carolina blue joints. So fire, I need them to retro! Only other 14s I have are the DBs
Interesting how prior Jordan's purposefully avoided the painful Achilles heel contact. For instance, the 5's rear dips down low, the 6's rear spoiler is bent back (improved upon the 3 & 4 plastic tabs), 7's rear also dips low but also adds a little Achilles cushion, & carved out of the 11's rear leather is nice flexible material. Yet for the 14, the heel part is intentionally hunched forward, with nothing to alleviate or make it as in previous models.
Love those shoes and I’m not too big a fan of 14s, but that color way is amazing. Love love love your videos they have helped me decide whether or not to cop a shoe before keep them amazing work !

I love the 14 design in the right colorway especially in these but I wouldnt say go true to size cause these can get uncomfortable overtime just like the Jordan 1’s so if u buying these get’em a half size bigger to get u that extra comfort

Idk if it’s because I need to wear them in more but both 13s and 14s are super clunky to me. Feel like clunky work boots I believe because of the shank plates are so stiff that the heel toe transition isn’t smooth like a pair of 10s

Shank plates in both models do not go into the forefoot. They aren't the issue. You just need to break the shoes in.
