We are living in a time when it is easier to blame others than to take personal responsibility for something. Blame-shifting has been going on since the beginning of human history. When God confronted Adam and Eve about their disobedience, Adam blamed Eve and Eve blamed the serpent. The theology of responsibility is simply this-every person is accountable to God for his/her own life. We cannot blame others or make excuses for our behavior or our lives. “Responsibility” is from two words-response and ability: the ability to choose a response that no longer blames others or makes excuses for one’s actions. Only then can we turn to God with humility and repentance and find His mercy and forgiveness.

Thank you for this lesson. I had been told about generational curses more than who I am in Christ. I was not quite sure where this is coming from. "Second birth is greater than the first" - whatever I lack or damage done to me, the the grace in Christ is enough to bring healing and wholness to my life.

Im struggling....fight hopelessness and sin ....anger, anxiety. This popped up. I love his teachings. Im trying to read the bible when racing thoughts start. I feel so guilty for sinning knowing how much Jesus loves me and it hurts him....Jesus, please have mercy on my soul.

I took have thoughts of guilt from my past, but that's what Jesus died for. We need to keep reminding ourselves of that. Keep reading the Bible, watching sermons and praying! This too shall pass.

Why do we carry the sin of Adam and Eve even today

    • @lexi10ac
      @lexi10ac 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

I would say that it's because we are a product of them after the choice to sin.
We are born(birthed) into sin. If they would have had children before making the choice, then those children would not be born into sin & death, however that's not the case. The Bible says that they conceived after leaving the Garden.
Of course you should, receive confirmation for this answer from the LORD.

Can a Christian be changed by God from his bad attitude even if he is not willing to change himself?

    • @workingken4268
      @workingken4268 ปีที่แล้ว +3

Just for the fact brother that you recognize the bad attitude that's the Holy Spirit revealing to you and putting a conviction upon you or this person about the bad attitude eventually you will get this heavy conviction that you need to change and allow the Holy Spirit to change you a true Christian knows right from wrong because of the Holy spirit it brings it to your own Soul and Spirit that the bad attitude is a sin especially when you use it against your fellow neighbor and your Brothers and Sisters in Christ did you know it's bad you know it's wrong and you know it is a sin that itself lets you know the holy spirit is convicting you not condemning you but convicting you because remember what Jesus says that we must love our brothers and sisters just that he loves us we must also love our Neighbors

The Old Testament was written for types. The vision of Ezekiel points to Christ. Each face points to an aspect of Christ's ministry.
Placement of groups and Banner around the Tabernacle
Each of the 12 tribes had their own banner, but when they gathered around the tabernacle 3 tribes would stand under a group banner
Groups of 3 Each under 1 banner They all faced the Tabernacle
A Lion- Judah, Issachar, Zebulon. East.
A man- Reuben, Simion, Gad. South
An Ox- Ephriam, Manasseh, Benjamin. West
An Eagle- Dan Asher, Naphtali. North
    The Lion
Christ is the lion of the tribe of Judah. (Revelation 5:5.) They stood behind the lion. It is his banner that we raise. We put him first. Satan may go about as a roaring lion, (1 Peter 5:8) but Jesus is the true lion.
Acts 17:29 "Therefore since we are God's children. NASB. In the same way he overcame we overcome
    The Man
There is a perfect man. It is the fullness of Christ manifest in and through us. It is us being conformed to his image. It is Christ in us the hope of Glory. It is no longer I but Christ that dwells within me (Ephesians 4:11-13, Romans 8:29, Colossians 1:27)
    The Ox
It is the most expensive sacrifice. There is none like him that paid the price for us. The Ox can represent the ministers of God working the field of the harvest. We are an example for others to see and learn how the field is plowed so that they can plow the field of their hearts. If Christ is the sacrifice, then we are living sacrifices as the scripture says. (Leviticus 9:4 Ox is an offering)
    The Eagle
It nests in high places, in the rocks of the mountain. We are hidden in the rock that is Christ. It can see its prey from up to 5 kilometers away. We are seated in heavenly places and see from the perspective which is above. (God carried Israel on Eagles wings Exodus 19:4)(Saints soar like eagles Isaiah 40:31) (God is like an eagle that stirs up the nest and hovers over its’ young Dueteronomy 28:11-12)
What if as a holy nation we had and walked in all 4 of these aspects. What would it look like?
(1st Peter 2:9 We are a holy nation)
    Ezekiel 1:4-21
V4 I looked, and I saw a windstorm coming out of the north - an immense cloud with flashing lightning and surrounded by brilliant light. There is something about those that have come though the storms of life and are perfected by them. The scripture also speaks of a great cloud of witnesses cheering us on to run the race (Hebrews 12:1)
The center of the fire looked like glowing metal, This glowing metal is pure and can speak of us being purified in Christ. There are those who have bought gold that is tried in the fire (Revelation 3:18)
5 and in the fire was what looked like four living creatures. In appearance their form was that of a man, 6 but each of them had four faces and four wings. 7 Their legs were straight; their feet were like those of a calf and gleamed like burnished bronze. The feet of a calf is straight and I believe this speaks of their walk being righteous and true. The wings speak of their speed of movement and how they are those that are carried by the spirit. (Daniel 7:6 four wings, Alexander The Great of Greece conquered the known world in 10 years)
8 Under their wings on their four sides they had the hands of a man. Our hands speak of the ministry we perform before the lord. It being under the wings shows that much of what we do is hidden All four of them had faces and wings, 9 and their wings touched one another. Each one went straight ahead; they did not turn as they moved. They were established and did not turn. Completely focused on Christ. They are like the bride of Christ that has doves eyes (Song of Solomon 1:15, 4:1)
10 Their faces looked like this: Each of the four had the face of a man, and on the right side each had the face of a lion, and on the left the face of an ox; each also had the face of an eagle. 11 Such were their faces. Notice That these faces are the same as the banners for the grouping of the tribes of Israel
Their wings were spread out upward; each had two wings, one touching the wing of another creature on either side, and two wings covering its body. 12 Each one went straight ahead.
Wherever the spirit would go, they would go, without turning as they went.
John 3:8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit." NIV
13 The appearance of the living creatures was like burning coals of fire or like torches. Are not my ministers a flame of fire (Hebrews 1:7)
Living creatures Those who have become like Christ. Each face represents an attribute of the nature of Christ
The tabernacle of Moses. The tabernacle represents Christ, who was in the center.
How can we be like the 12 tribes?
We gather as one nation, with one purpose in one accord.
Rom 8:19-20 The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. NIV
When we are one like Jesus prayed then we will be revealed as the sons of God (John 17:11, John 17:22)
