From the moment we were born God has been pursuing our hearts because He wants a relationship with us. The faster and farther we run from Him, God runs faster and farther still! King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon understood this firsthand. God had revealed Himself to him in profound ways over a period of 30 years, pursuing Nebuchadnezzar, until he finally surrendered to God as King over his life. What will it take for us to come to a similar place of surrender? What will we have to go through before we finally humble ourselves and submit our lives to Jesus as King and Lord? This is the topic of today’s study with Pastor Gary from Daniel 4.

God saved me from myself when I was 58 and nearly lost. He caught me as I fell. My standing was low so God showed me the way to climb. He taught me about Him. He taught me how to surrender my life to Him. He showed me time and time again that when I surrender to Him, He will make my way easy. He made me love him with my every thought. God is everything! Praise be to God!
Thank you God for pursuing me for 71 years. I praise you lord for your pursuit. Lord God, i give you my heart and soul lord, that you may do with me your will. you are my lord and king Father, Thy will! will be done. I humble myself before you lord Jesus, who is my lord and savior. I no longer want to be king of my life, Lord. I wish that you would be king over me Lord. so that i could follow your will Father, Lord God. Praise your holy name! AMEN.
So blessed by this sermon. I have been led to meditate on Daniel 1-4 since few months...that's how I came here, I searched for a sermon on Daniel 4. God bless you brother for this teaching.

Just finished reading about Manasseh in second chronicles…very similar story! Took Manasseh 50 plus years to wander lost before god humbled him through captivity before he turned, repented and humbled himself! God does have patience! God does pursue us! Amazing grace!!

I am so grateful 🙏 that GOD didn't stop on me. I was 51yrs old when the FATHER shut me down. If I would have kept going the way I was going. GOD would have put me in the field. Not out on it, but in it🙏🙏🙏. THANK YOU FATHER 🙏🙏🙏
