We really need a respiratory therapy program in south jersey because I’m traveling over an hour to north jersey to attend Brookdale community college for their respiratory program.
What level math do you need if you’re thinking of going into this field? I had pneumonia twice last year and the respiratory therapists were so good to me that I felt inspired by them. I’m tossing around different ideas of what career move I should get into. I just lost my job as a medical biller because the doctor I worked for retired after a medical emergency in April. I’m kinda bored with medical billing and looking for a job with better pay. I need to make better pay or I’m never going to succeed. I’m single and don’t have the luxury of a 2nd income. Thanks for any replies
Was hoping to hear more about the daily tasks and responsibilities of an RT, not just about how she loves her coworkers and management.
Respiratory therapists do have a tough job, but it does help a lot of patients. The job is very fulfilling.
what isn't a " tough job " tho 🙄

Well done! Been at it over 30 years.
Is it hard to find work in this field?

How do I become a respiratory therapist
Find a local program in your local junior colleges
Take the pre required classes before you apply
You can go to school for 17 months and become a RRT. I’m at Concorde career college and I am almost done.
