Thanks for sharing! For how many months or years this Slime is efficient? And for example if in 2 or 3 years the Slime inside the tube looses its efficiency, do you put more slime inside, or you replace the tube for a brand new?
Never had luck with Slime, good for a few days then leaks again. I use plugs, works for my cars and truck. You suppose to use plug in combination with patch for safety on the highway but never had problems with plugs by itself so far. Lucky that nail didn't punchered the sidewall.
With slime in a tire with a tube it wouldn't matter if the nail went into the sidewall. The tire isn't what gets patched, it's the tube to prevent leaks. If it were tubeless then slime wouldn't work, though I think they have a slime made for tubeless tires.
Hi Marty. I’m hoping someday soon these manufacturers will make an easy way to access the tire quickly from one side. Easy access with just a few buckles and maybe a couple small tools you can carry. Perhaps have the necessary tools stored under an easy access cover. . . and it goes at least 30 mph and has a hundred mile range. Thought I’d throw those last two in. 😂
Hi Marty ... I just bought slime after watching your video ..does slime works on both tube and tubeless Tyres ? I own mten3 , mcm5 and Tesla v2 .. all original Tyres
Sorry if I said something misleading in the video. Yes, I could have done that on the ride, but conditions on the side of a road are not always conducive to this type of work.
I've been using Slime for years, along with many other EUC riders I know. You can Google "Slime" for more information. Slime is sold in different formulations including tubeless and tubed tires.
@@ElectricUnicycles Hi, maybe carry a CO2 cartridge inflator like one of these. www.amazon.com/LEZYNE-Inflator-Schrader-Compatible-Mountain/dp/B008R5LX74/ref=sr_1_16?crid=18UWY1H4T522Q&dchild=1&keywords=co2+bike+tire+inflator&qid=1599747746&sprefix=co2%2Caps%2C415&sr=8-16
there is slime in the tire so all you need to do is take out the object and fill it with air.... slime will seal up holes from the inside since it will get pushed outwards from airpressure and centrifugal force by wheeluse.. when it gets in contact with the outside air it hardens out

I've opened Slime'd tubes that were 2-years old and the Slime was still liquid. I don't worry about.

This tire is still fine after a couple of months. Slime seems to work well for these size tires.

That would be great for sure. And very funny :-)
@@ElectricUnicycles Ha! I come from the future to tell you that range and speed now is a reality and more!

Interesting for sure how something so small can find its way into a tire like that. It must’ve been all of that carving on the sand. 😎
U have a nice shop, every u need is there aws
slime is ok for small punctures, just replace tire would be a bigger problem because of thicker tube

Yes. I use Slime in all my wheels, including the tubeless Mten3 and Z10.
Hi, what one of your wheels is your favorite?
How does a flat tire relate to a Gotway problem? It did sound like that. So you could have done that on your ride?

Hi Marty, what quantity of slime would you recumbent for a Gotway Monster tyre? Thanks
I put 8-ounces in mine - it's a big tire
@@ElectricUnicycles Thanks Marty
I could've carried your wheel(again) Thanks for the info ;)
Very funny :-)
I don't know if I would use slime, isn't that made for tubeless tires? Now what happens when you get all that slime between the tire and Tube?

how many oz of slim do you put into the 18" wheel?
3oz for 16" and below, 4oz for 18", and 8oz for 22" tires.
What kind of small pomp do you use now?
This is what I bought, and works on all of my wheels: a.co/08yVTWY

it will be good to have a soap diluted with water small bottle, in order to find the puncture easier.
Yes, it you can't find the puncture, soapy water of course helps.
Mabie it wasn't just by chance. . . Fossil fuel junkies be hating on us.
You took sharp object out and filled with air. Why didnt you show rest of what you did? It's an infinished video.

Slime is garbage. Use Stan's race sealant.
