This is probably the best tutorial on how to remove concrete wall anchors. The rest of the videos on TH-cam depend on randomly drilling around the anchor and hoping to weaken the surrounding area to allow the concrete to fail around the anchor rather than targeting the anchor itself

The rawl bolt is made up of two parts, one part is the barrel, it is necessary to tighten so that the barrel comes out and thus leave space to hammer the bolt only later.

Cant help but think why couldn't we just use the rotary tool to carve a thread by the end of the bolt and use a screwdriver for extraction?

The bolt is not fixed, so the rotary tool could not drill it. The bolt would rotate just like the tool.

Thanks for the method. Sorry one thing isn't clear. What size bolt to use in relation to hole. I have 6mm bolts removed from metal rawl plug. What size bolt I need to use to remove the rawl plug? Please advise. Thanks
