Andy, once again, another Cool project! Call it What ever you want.
I have to comment on your push stick. It's similar to mine, my OLD one that is. Yes it pushes but provides little down force. I made the mistake of using my left hand on the end of the piece as it passed beyond the blade, then the blade grabbed the piece yanking it to the right. I cut all 5 fingers on my left hand, stitches in the little guy, which my latest video shows. My new stick is by MilesCraft with a 9 inch long rubber lined contact across the board. You're more of a wood worker than I am but I had to comment.

Thanks .. I made that push stick for small thin material but end up using it when I shouldn't , definitely need to make a more substantial one as the ones that came with my machines aren't much different ...cheers

I did a run of 100 small minimalistic penguins, like a year ago, walnut and hard maple, little beaks of osage for most of them. I ended up leaving about half all over America and when I went on a road trip. A couple times I got to see people finding them, getting confused by them and after seeing no one was around that it could belong to, taking it.

In Argentina 'Penguin' Means wine jug .. They also resemble a pair of 'Yorkshire Lesser Spotted Penguin Hawks'

Perhaps, in the "SHOW MORE" section, the mention of/link to any unusual tool or product could be of benefit to some viewers. Hi Andy, first off, have to say there is not a single video of yours that I have seen that I have not enjoyed. I am new to turning, and watching what you do certainly gives me the confidence in trying new things. Question for you...I see sometimes when you are laminating, you use 'regular' good quality white glue, and other times you are utilizing polyurethane...Is there one you prefer over the over, or are you just using what you have close at hand? Thank you very much !

Thanks Carey .. The white glue I use is a resin based glue its not a PVA .. and seems to do a good job when laminating or segmented work not had anything blow apart yet .. and I usually use a 2 part 5 min epoxy for glue blocks etc ..cheers

Thanks for clarifying that ! I have been testing out a couple different adhesives...I have used the Gorilla polyurethane and find it works very well....I will take a look for the white resin based product next time I am at my local store...

I see the penguins. What you need to do is add a spherical form on top with a beak and voila.
