Another little project from the scraps bucket a toothpick holder a great little seller at craft fairs. #woodturning #scrapwooduses #toothpickholder #smallliddedbox
1st LOL. They are fantastic. Will be trying these as they should be impulse buys at craft markets. Take care Will. Cheers, Huw PS love the engraving as well
try using a spanner or wrench , in your case 16mm instead on spring calipers. when using the parting tool or a skew chisel to for the tenon. works well in my experience
Great video William. Though I suspect I'm not the only one saw your "scrap bucket" and thought that your "scrap" is better than a lot of the wood I start with!
Thanks Paul as turning large bowls is my favourite I always have the odd blank that splits beyond repair so ends up in the scrap pile to be cut up for small projects cheers Paul and thanks for watching 👍😊
Hi William. 1rst visit to your channel, really like what I see. This is at my current skill level so I'll be having a go at a few of these. I've subbed so I'll be catching up on your other videos. 👍
Cheers magnus thanks for watching it's much appreciated, the template I use is for a holder 90 millimeter long that suits the length of toothpicks I bought so design you little holder around the length of toothpick you have. I start off with a blank of wood about 160 millimeters, hope this helps you out a bit, feel free to message anytime, Kind regards From Will 👍
